*SOMEWHAT SPOILER-Y* A lot of people were upset that season 6 didn't really address the snap, but considering the logistics behind the show-runners not being told how the movies were going to resolve, I'm pretty okay with how they handled it. I'm also of the opinion that with the exception of the Winter Soldier tie in that revitalized Season 1, AoS is at its strongest when it does its own thing and ignores the movies. The instances where they bring up up the movies feel more like a once-per-season ad/product placement to remind you that a new movie is coming out, rather than actually serving the show's plot at all.

You kinda talked over the part where they mention they only have so many jumps left and it's in deep deep space so they don't know if they could get back to Earth if they made that jump. And they weren't gonna quit, they were gonna go back to Earth and refuel the Zepher before checking out Simmons's lead so if they did find Fitz they could actually get him back home instead of being stranded out there with him.

Yay AOS is back! Glad you didn't have the DVD - the cover has a certain character on it that would have spoiled the first episode a bit. Weird that the s5 dvd had s6 spoilers in it!

When Piper starts up the jump drive, you can see there are 2 cannisters left. One she puts into the jump drive, and the other is still on the shelf. They probably could have done 1 jump and then 1 more back to Earth. Not sure if "deep space" needs more than 1 jump to get back though. But yeah, fuel was a problem.

My brain went with...they were in an alternate time loop, something Thanos didn't include in his "Snap' therefore...safe. Well as safe as a Whedon show could be...GULP!

I'm one of the ones watching with you... I knew Coulson would be in it due to spoiler and I know 1 more thing that of course I'll keep to myself. However, I'm kinda surprised that we see Fitzgerald walking and talking in the first episode... I thought he would have been in the chamber for @ least a couple episodes. And about the accent... yep, and I love it. I listen to the way you say some stuff and think it sounds better coming from you than when I say it. For example: I prefer your pronunciation of TATTOO. To me it sounds like TADUE when an Australian accent says it and that sounds better to me. Also, some are stronger than yours and also some of the actors fake it for the part so maybe they're not doing as great of a job.

Episode 6 of this season is in a 3way tie for my favorite episode of the series along with the finale of season one and the premiere of season three

Them calling Fitz a Tehran wasn't the only GOTG reference. They also had Xandarian snails on the ship. Xandar was the planet that the Guardians defended against Ronan and his forces.

35:21 Shan, you knew Davis has a kid. Season 4 Episode 1: "The Ghost". Yo-Yo asks Davis, "How's your wife?" Davis responded, "Getting bigger every day." Then he corrected himself with, "More beautiful every day." You commented that you hoped that meant she was pregnant. I mean how could it not? Fun fact: In real life Davis is married to Daisy's mom, and they have a kid together. In fact she was pregnant while playing Jiaying, that's why she wore loose fitting clothes.
