I hate reading! Like a lot. Like in school I would do everything in my power to not read books. In my high school years, I only actually read 3 books cover to cover. This was one of them and remains one of my favorite books. I really hope this lives up to the book! Also love “Crosses” at the beginning. Real Life Is Strange vibe

Cool you’re checking this out. Haven’t seen it yet so it’s cool to watch it with you. Thoughts: Colonel is my favorite character so far. “Token” or not the actor really brings it and I find his character interesting. Alaska is played Kristine Froseth who yes is VERY pretty. I didn’t really notice it in Sierra Burgess but when I watched her in this other show The Society well damn. Pudge is standard white cynical male character who’s discovering himself. Cliche and needs token black character to make him interesting so I wish the actor would emote more and give himself a personality. Yes you’re cynical but show us some raw emotion.

I was a background extra on this show. Watching it come to life afterwards was surreal.

FYI - this is an 8 episode mini-series adaptation of the 2005 young adult novel of the same name by John Green. From what I've read about the novel it's not something I would watch (or read) but I'll watch Shan reaction videos if she does more episodes.
