General Talbot outranks Cap'n Crunch cereal; and Talbot smiles at his joke - seems right to me. For Coulson, the cereal has been changed to Oops! All Berries, a "mistake" that works out better than the original plan... heh...

I know on the surface, the ep seems unnecessary because it's mostly Hydra and exposition but it was important to give Hale's backstory and explain her motivations. If they hadn't shown that, it would just seem so random why she is proposing what she is, with them teaming up. It makes more sense when you know what happened before.

I hate when we never learn the motivation behind the "villains" story so I appreciated this episode. I don't actually believe she is the main villain though. Pretty sure she is just the one who creates that villain. I also have a sneaking suspicion that there is a reason Talbot was brought back.

I agree that all the exposition was necessary, but I think it would have been better if they had found a way to spread it out over the course of the previous 3 or 4 episodes, rather than cramming it all into this one.
