The same thing kinda goes for Damon, he could’ve just let Bonnie be until she got at least little bit more adjusted. It was really selfish of him to do what he did, especially after she saved his life. It’s sad that she even had to warn him 3 times her discomfort being around Kai.

oh great, another humanity switch off storyline. seriously though, this schtick got old back in season 3.

I actually really like how they did Caroline with no humanity. She was differnt enough where i didnt mind the repeating storyline.

I agree. Caroline without her humanity is surprisingly refreshing. Every other no humanity storyline is essentially the same, but she had herself in control and I loved it!

I love no humanity Caroline... I wish Stefan would have just let it go. You're totally right about him in this episode. Very self-centered and self-righteous. Caroline made the rules very clear and, considering what a control freak she is and how in control of her urges she is even without humanity, I do believe she would have stuck to the deal she made. Bonnie is clearly suffering from PTSD. The way she flinched at loud noises and how uncomfortable she gets when people get to close to her... she spent months alone without any surprising loud noises. And having flashbacks to her trauma when she sees Kai.... What happened to Bonnie isn't Damon's fault, but triggering her PTSD is. He knew she didn't wanna see Kai and he knew she was struggling and wasn't okay, but he shoved Kai in her face anyway for selfish reasons. So I do believe she has a right to be upset at him.

they only had her in control for part of an episode. by the end of this episode, after stefan interfered, she started acting just like stefan and damon did with their humanity off.

she was only in control briefly though. by the end of this episode, after stefan's interference, she became their "worst nightmare", as she said she would.

To be fair to Kai though, all those things he did to Bonnie where only after she betrayed him and tried to take his life. I mean, they all agreed to go home together, then Bonnie convinced Damon that they should double cross him and leave without him and then she stabbed him in the chest not knowing that he would survive. Not justifying what Kai did, but if someone tries to take your life 🤷🏾‍♂️ And you just so happen to be psychopath 🤷🏾‍♂️
