Not really a fan of this episode, to be honest. I think the previous episode was far superior. On the list of episode 7's, this is near the bottom for me. It's right between Revelations and Bachelor Party in my opinion.

It was nice to hear you actually say something positive about Reed Diamond's character. Whitehall on AoS wasn't the most engaging, but I think they gave him more to work with as Dominic on Dollhouse. He's by no means a bad actor, he just has a tendency to get cast as the straight man more often than not.

I love Reed Diamond (guy who plays Mr Dominic). Joss utilized him best in his Much Ado About Nothing movie. I always think about this video when I hear his name: https://youtu.be/Sa19Qmy_b8Y

You are right about about ep 7. Joss uses very strict story telling rules to his advantage. He sets you up and then drops a 'Would you like a treatment?' followed by 'NO!' Or 'There's no way Don would have fun,' or 'Her words ECHO back to this moment.' Sometimes storytelling is all about the subtlety.

I've been trying to figure out where I know the guy that plays Echo's handler from and it just now hit me, he was in the Matrix! Anyway yeah, good ep for sure. We get to see more of Echo's backstory and everyone all drugged out was hilarious, similar to Life of the Party (Angel).

Yeah my ear is attuned to the difference because of years of being called Millie mistakenly that I just agreed to. It's like "pin" and "pen"? "Meli" means "honey" in Greek if that sweetens the name a bit (hurr hurr)

Wow you're really seeing a pattern with Joss's style of episode writing! lol Something I never took notice of. This was another great episode. The scene in the end where that Sam guy was given an offer was a similar situation to Echo (or Caroline then) 'cause I'm sure Dewitt knew that he was responsible for that whole catastrophe of spreading the virus/drug. It's so disturbing to think that some of these dolls probably have some hidden crimes in the past that perhaps have never been paid for 'cause they've been given a new life. I kind of like Mellie and Paul together. Adele and Topher were pretty funny in this episode and I especially love the part where they called Boyd and all of a sudden he starts playing the piano like "Hey listen to this!" and were feeling the music. It's great. 👍 And yeah that Boring Dude (Dominic) was actually quite entertaining this time.
