Great reaction and good points. I'm not really a fan of this eps myself.

You have asked a couple times what the connection is between Ballard and Caroline (echo). No spoilers, just recap: Ballard was looking for the dollhouse when he received an envelope (from whom we don't know), with a photo of Caroline that implied she was at the Dollhouse. Now he has received the video from the same source.

BOO

I think Dominic just assumed Echo would get out of the situation somehow like she always does, idk. It was definitely kinda weird.

I liked this episode so much it both creeped me out and got me hyped. Also Elizas performance as Ester both brought me to tears with how purely she played her and made me fist pump at the end. Lastly thanks to this episode I use the phrase man reaction.

Dominic definitely wanted Echo to die there, since he said many times before that she was trouble. My guess is he disguised himself as an ATF agent, shot Sparrow because he was the main target of their endeavor, and knocked out Echo and have people assume she died of smoke inhalation since she was on camera as one of “The Faithful”

Shan was right, she saw that video, it was the same one being watched by someone at the end of the first episode

The cult is based on the fake news cartoon version of the Branch Davidians. Interesting to see a reaction from someone who unaware of that dark story. I do like this episode, when I'm not busy hating on it.

Yeah, definitely not a great ep but Eliza as usual is still awesome.

I do think it wasn't one of the best episodes, but on re-viewing it, I think I picked up on some metaphors with the religious aspects. With the talk of the serpent in Eden, and then refering to the Dollhouse as an innocents paradise that can not be disturbed, and the lust with Victor, and it seemed at the end that Echo was seeing the "serpent" in the garden.

Nice insight. yeah there's always a "traitor in the midst" as they say and that DomiDICK guy need some serious ass kicking 😠 from Faith, I mean, Echo. lol
