The weeks will vary. It's just how it worked out this week but there will be weeks with 2 of Angel and 1 of DH.

This is the episode that made me really get excited about this show. I already loved Joss and Eliza (you should totally watch Tru Calling, it's great fun) but this episode got me hyped about where the story could go.

Loved your reaction. I think you are really getting into how this show parallels the the way Joss has told stories in his earlier shows. You seem to figure out whats going on really fast. The first few episodes of Dollhouse pulled me into a warm comfortable space because they looked like and felt like the other shows Joss has done.

This Show made me and my friends debate about consent for weeks! On one hand, she did (probably) give consent to be made a Doll, on the other hand she basically gets brainwashed into having sex....

Yeah, it's really rather messed up. She gave consent to being made a doll, but for one thing, it was made under duress. Basically "Do this or go to jail". Secondly, they aren't giving consent to each circumstance they are put in. The moment they consent to being made a doll, they lose the ability to consent in all other matters. And they can never revoke consent. Like if you consent to have sex with someone you can revoke that consent still. If you get into kinky things, then safe words are important and respected. They have no way at any time to revoke consent for a particular situation.

You should be happy to know that Dollhouse is now on Shan's regular schedule with episode 1x03 on for later this week. The complete series (2 seasons) will take about 4 months or so with the watch schedule she plans to follow.
