Dean made friends with a monster??? Did hell freeze over because I'm sure Crowley would've mentioned it by now

the file is not s8! it was gag reel !! sob

This is the season 7 gag reel again

Brendan O'Connor

I love this season. You’re right, Ty Olsson played a vampire named Eli in Season 2, but now he’s Benny. Supernatural likes using actors from previous seasons and giving them new characters to play. I love Benny, and I hope you will too!

Brendan O'Connor

I agree wholeheartedly regarding Sam. He didn’t even try to find out if his brother was alive or not, and he left Kevin to fend for himself against demons. That last part makes me angrier because Kevin was taken by Crowley almost immediately after he was thrust into this life.

Brandon Wiesner

Season 15 I think is supposed to be shorter, so probably not. You will probably get another 3 seasons in at least though.

To answer your question in the intro; you've got about 150+ episodes to go until the season 15 premier in September. It seems unlikely you'd get through them all unless you were to more than double your production. The only other suggestion would be to skip certain 'monster of the week' episodes and just follow the main season story arcs. I, and others here, could help come up with a list of the crucial episodes ahead. But there is nothing wrong with sticking with your current pace taking the time to absorb the show. Your channel, your call.

Rita Hunter

I can see why Dean would be angry regarding Sam not looking for Kevin, but I really didn't think it was right for him to be so accusatory about Sam not finding and rescuing him from Purgatory, when Dean himself did almost the same thing when he stopped hunting and spent that whole year with Lisa and Ben. He was living the family life while other hunters were still hunting, and people still dying. I don't get the big difference between what Sam did between seasons 7 and 8, and what Dean did between 5 and 6.

Tammy L. Faulkner

!!!Benny!!! Thats all I'll say... !!!Benny!!!

Natalia

Season 15 will most likely have its premiere in October (the actual date hasn't been released yet, but it's always been in October). So I kinda doubt you'd be able to catch up watching just 2 episodes a week.

The only reasons you can be mad at sam is for not trying to look for dean or Kevin at all. If you are mad he gave up the hunter life then you are being a hypocrite because dean did the same thing in season 6. What about all those people he let die when he was with Lisa and Ben. Just like Sam said this episode. So it’s only free will when it’s dean’s life. He can do what he wants but anyone else can’t try to have a normal life.

Lefwyn

The stated difference is the part where Sam didn't look for Dean. Dean looked for Sam after 5, even though he said he wouldn't: From transcript on Superwiki: Dean: That woman and that kid -- I went to them because you asked me to. Bobby: Good. Dean: Good for who? I showed up on their doorstep half out of my head with grief. God knows why they even let me in. I drank too much. I had nightmares. I looked everywhere. I collected hundreds of books, trying to find anything to bust you out. Sam: You promised you'd leave it alone. Dean: Of course I didn't leave it alone! Sue me! A damn year? You couldn't put me out of my misery?

You didn't react this badly when Dean left Sam in the cage, Dean knew where he was and left him. Sam had no idea where Dean was. He should have looked for Kevin I will grant you that. However the boys always tell each other not to try to bring the other back and both of them have left the other. Sam lived a year trying to get revenge on the trickster and look how that went. Sam tried to get Dean out of hell and that messed him up. He deserved to live a life free of hunting and the threat of death. I did love the reaction as always, really liked you pointing out Kevin's hair and then Crowley answered it lol

Since you do, on average, 8 episodes a month, I'd say you'll be close to the end of S9...and probably close to the end of S11 by time the show ends. So yeah, you're going at a good pace, I think you should keep going at this pace.

Michele

You know that's not right, don't you? Dean didn't "leave" Sam in the cage. He tried to find a way to get him out. They even had a short fight about it when they got reconnected at the beginning of season 6. I think the problem we have with this one is that Sam didn't even try. Didn't even seem to be interested in seeing if Dean could be found. Just assumed he was dead. But Sam is smarter than that, and it really seemed to go against his character that he wouldn't even look into what happened. So that's what hurts.

Michele

My quick calculations would have you needing to do 5.6 episodes a week to finish with season 14 by the time season 15 starts. Now you could watch and record that many, but still post 2 a week. Or keep at the fast pace you are currently going. Season 8 starts with episode #150! You've done 151 episodes! Season 14 ends with 307 episodes. They've reduced to 20 episodes a season a couple years ago.

Michele

Now there is a whole new lead running the show. Sera Gamble left after season 7. Expect the show to change a bit. Overall, I liked this episode. The Benny you saw here is not the same character as the one from Season 2, but it is the same actor. I know, it can be confusing. I agree with you about Sam. It also seemed out of character, from how he was last few years. But we see that he still is looking for an Out from the hunting life. He's does better on his own. Dean tried living the simple life for a year, but never was able to get over what happened to Sam, and had tried to find a way to get Sam out of the cage. Here, it seems as if Sam didn't even think about trying. Didn't even seem to wonder what happened. He was upset. We see that, but he seemed able to move on. And to not even worry about Kevin? Makes it seem like the only reason Sam does any Hunting is because of Dean. So it's all Dean's fault for dragging Sam into hunting? sigh - I don't like what the writer's are doing here. I could accept Sam not wanting to hunt on his own. Without his brother. That makes sense. But for him to just check out like that - cold turkey? And there are other hunter's out there that he would know. He should have made arrangements for someone to look for Kevin. To at least maybe be the new Bobby, or something. I like that we're actually getting some Purgatory stuff this time, like you mentioned where they didn't give us anything about Dean's time in Hell. I just find it odd that we're actually getting Dean having more obvious PTSD from Purgatory than from Hell. Well, no show is perfect.

Diiirk706

Sam did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG. GOOD on him for getting out for at least a year.

Jason Veevaert

The way I see it is that Sam and Dean were both in a rough place at the time with Dean in Purgatory (Sam feeling lost wounded and without allies and Dean going into a soldier's state of blind aggression and PTSD) so both tried to deal with emotional turmoil in different ways, neither any more or less valid to their emotional states and noteworthy opposing flaws (trauma tends to leave Dean a closed off killing machine while Sam is a raw nerve of feeling) which tends to happen when siblings face the same issues, and I think both Sam and Dean have the right to a few lapses in (I guess faith) considering their family business.

Jason Veevaert

I think Dean's more obvious PTSD from Purgatory is because he didn't expect to love it as much as he did (like when he was talking about the purity of it) and that along with being new friends with a vampire is making him question himself.

Nicole Garver

The storyline of Sam not even looking for Dean was HUGELY controversial in the fandom and the woman he was with was almost universally HATED! (I usually refuse to even say her name. I call her “she who must not be named”.). || I love the character of Benny so much, and yes he’s the same actor from the season 2 vampire episode (Ty Olsen) but he’s not playing the same character. || One other thing, I noticed a puzzled look on your face when Kevin responded toSam saying “You know I’m not gay, right?” So was I the first time I saw it, but it’s from an ad campaign targeted towards young people trying to figure out their sexuality. It featured the line “It gets better”. || P.S. I adore the opening sequence, especially that long walk of Dean’s down that country road - those long, bowed legs in pants that fit him so well - I wrote a tweet to the wardrobe person to thank her for finally putting him something other than the baggy-assed jeans Dean usually wears ♥️😂🤓

I was really disappointed with your reaction to Sam in this video.

Anonymous

This is the best interpretation of the brothers feelings at the beginning of Sn 8 I have ever seen. No one has said this better and I feel this all the way. As a Sam girl it always irritated me that nobody ever considered what Sam was going through at this time. You said it perfectly

Anonymous

Sam was the one who wanted Dean to have a normal life, while in this case Dean didn't want Sam to have it so Dean kinda seems like a bad guy in this situation . Yes Dean did try to look for Sam when he was in hell, but the difference here is that Dean knew where Sam was, while Sam in this case had no clue that he was in purgatory so there is litarely nothing he could've done. I understand you're playing favorites here but come on :)

Anonymous

what about the whole two years he had at standford with Jess??

Anonymous

Sam didn't know where Dean was is not the major issue. The problem is that Sam even didn't try to figure it out where dean has gone or anything. just move on- is not o.k.it is Dean, his big brother who gave up his life for Sam so many freaking times.there is no excuse about it.even for die-hard fans(I know I know they are blind and so on).it is so bad write, kinda sorry for Jared.

To answer your question at the beginning of the video, at this current pace of two episodes per week, you should be watching the season 9 mid-season finale by October. You need to increase the amount of episodes you watch of Supernatural. I just don't think that people would be happy if you stopped following the other series.

EddieSpice69

Yes Shannan I agree With you i hated this Sam it basically made me turn my compass to Dean For the Rest of the Series and Going Forward! (P.S Means Dean's My Boy!)
