Yes... Thats the same Stark... From Captain America. They used another actor for the 70s flashback and such. And yes... That is 100% Jarvis from the movies... Love that voice😺 Oh Captain America... now I wanna watch Endgame again.

Paul Gibson

Only from Endgame, Paul Bettany was the voice of Jarvis before becoming vision

Loved this show. Pity it only went for two seasons...just as we were watching the formation of S.H.I.E.L.D. Peggy's super power is everyone under estimates her! Yes it is the same actor playing Howard Stark from Captain America the first Avenger. More please.

Amanda Logsdon

I watched this as it aired and it was fun to see the cross over topics: Roxson, nitromine, and a few more to come, it felt like another chapter of the same world, something Marvel does very well

Glad you started this after you saw Endgame. The extra tie-ins are nice. I saw the show first as it originally aired.

when that guy referred to her as a "liaison" to Captain America, he was implying that she was nothing more than Captain America's girlfriend rather than a professional agent.

Aes86

Dr. Vanko - Ironman 2 . And because Shan had a quizzicle look, Vitarays from The original Captain america, soon to be called Gamma rays. And the Obnoxious restaurant patron is in Super Troopers, part of the Broken Lizard crew

First season was really good i thought. I like the period pieces though. Second season I didn't think was as good, personally, seemed less period piece . But Overall I liked the show

Wyatt

Sure it wasn’t an explosive episode but it was an IMplosive episode... 🤣😂🤣

Even back then there was some double standards regarding attitudes to black people. You couldnt sit together on the bus, but in showbiz, especially music, there were high profile black stars like Sammy Davis Jr. and jazz musicians. I would guess a black performer owning his own club would be in the grey area, but I can see it happening.

Hope you'll consider doing reactions to the whole series. It's really good. A black man owning a club wouldn't have been uncommon. It more likely would be in a certain part of the city. The "black district" so to speak, and the clientele would actually likely be more black than shown here. It wouldn't have been barred from white people, but it would be known as a "black club" where the black people could feel comfortable going.

Also did you catch the associate of Stark's that Jarvis took Peggy to for information was Vanko? That's Ivan Vanko's, from Iron Man 2, father. And yes that was also the daughter from How I Met Your Mother.

FernWithy

I love the diesel punk aesthetic. But mostly, I just love Peggy. :D I'd absolutely watch reactions on this one.

I watched it as it aired and flippin' loved it.

Tom Tattershall

I also watched it as it aired and enjoyed it very much. I would love to have you continue doing reaction videos for this show. There were only 18 episodes total: 8 for S.1, 10 for S.2.

Richard Lucas

Shan, Can you or someone please help me? I’m trying to find Doom Patrol on your overview page?

UTU49

You HAVE to watch Agent Carter, cuz Peggy's so CUUUTE! (I'm imitating my sister-in-law, cuz that's how she talks.)

UTU49

Does anyone else think it would have been interesting if Peggy had turned out to be Tony's mother?

Brandon Wiesner

It's not currently on there, because the reorganization happened before she started DP. For now, go to posts and click on DC Streaming Verse.

I haven't watched this series. So, I don't know how it goes from here. I liked a lot of what I saw and heard in this pilot. But, I feel that it was missing something important. It seemed to have all the technical requirements of an action show but I didn't "feel" anything. The people for the most part seemed to be caricatures. And the pilot didn't make me "care" about any of them. Maybe future episodes will correct this oversight. It was definitely good enough to check out how it goes for a few episodes.

Jared Scoggin

I loved this show. I watched it when it aired, which was during the winter break for Agents of Shield. Unfortunately, it got canceled because the network president for ABC who was a fan of the show and renewed it for season 2 left the network (or he may have been fired I can't remember). The new president canceled it so she could put Hayley Atwell in a more mainstream show about lawyers that she thought would be more successful, although that show got canceled. That year she also passed on Bobbi and Hunter's spin-off Marvel's Most Wanted because she said the other pilots were stronger, and 4 out of 5 of them were canceled during their first season. Then, the following year she tried to cancel Agents of Shield after season 4, but thankfully Disney owns ABC and they made her renew it.

Tony Stark named his AI Jarvis after his father's butler Jarvis from Agent Carter. Tony admired and cared about Edwin Jarvis, which is why he did so. I believe this was mentioned in Iron Man 2. Jarvis' voice and Vision in the Avengers movies are all played by Paul Bettany and he is a completely separate character. Jarvis here in Agent Carter is played by James D'Arcy.

I think Ive just seen the first season. Jarvis is my fav.

Ashgar77

Really enjoyed season 1. Season 2 was a slog.

Loves Bitca

Eh, Tony was already jealous enough with how much his dad thought of Cap, he'd go off the rails if Cap could claim "Dude, I coulda nailed your mom".

Melazond

I loved this show! I watched it as it aired and I am so sad it got canceled! Not only was she kickass and multi layered, she dressed phenomenally. I went to a panel at NYCC where Besame Cosmetics showed their super involved and cool makeup line. It came in a false bottom box and had coded messages and stuff, I wish I could have gotten it. There were so many Agents Carter in attendance, it was so great but bittersweet.

UTU49

Fun fact about the 2 Jarvis'. Tony's artificial intelligence, called Jarvis, is voiced by Paul Bettany, who also played Vision. The human Jarvis who was Howard Stark's butler was played by James D'Arcy. Here's the fun fact: you can see both those actors together in really good roles in the movie Master And Commander.
