Was waiting for this episode. You were so close to figuring it out when you noticed she wasn’t in her room like she said. This show never stops subverting your expectations. This episode is a big one. Ward betrays the team in 1x17 daisy betrays the team 3x17.

"Secret Warriors" comic book series is a team led by Daisy Johnson, started in 2009, 4 years before AoS season 1 (in the comics, Daisy isn't 'Skye'). Different team members, different story, in the comic she reports to Fury instead of Coulson... Grate reaction; starts out with a confused "wha?" ends with a shocked "wha?" I like the tight story-telling, would have been easy to make this a 2-parter.

Yeah, I know that of all the reactions I've watched and my own personal experience, that no one expected Daisy....maybe right before the reveal, but those darn writers. They get us every time. Don't feel bad, Shan. We were all duped.

Daisy is extremely powerful, she just holds back most of the time. In the comics she's been a badass, exploding the heart of Wolverine, taking out Magneto.

Also you seemed confused that may told daisy that it was ok for coulson keeps secrets. She learned why he was keeping his secrets in season 2.They were all good in season 2 and she understands why he keep them. Is she not allowed to learn from passed experiences.

Yeah Quake’s powers are pretty broken. I believe her powers are at the level of Black Bolt and Thor but below the Hulk. But she is definitely one of the strongest heroes in the MCU

First thing, you are right Alveus or Alveis literally means beehive :D. When you said like a beehive I cracked up because it's exactly what it means. I also loved your reaction to the Dasiy and Lincoln scene, you can see it in your eyes, you go through suspicion, denial, acceptance then horror. That line "we care about you" sent a chill down my spine the first time I watched it. It was like up till that moment I hadn't processed how scary Hive really is.

In the comics maybe, however, the MCU really scales things down and although her powers limits are insanely strong I don't feel Quake could really do anything to beat Cap let alone go toe to toe with Thor or Hulk. Her biggest weakness is the charge up, she seems to always start at like let's say a 1-5 max and to reach base destroying power "will say a 50" it took at least a full minute. I doubt she could use that level of strength on the fly. Now, this is not to say she's not powerful but again the limitations placed of her to have to start lower and increase strength from there is prevalent as soon as she gets her powers. This is simply a massive handicap that the Avengers as a whole doesn't suffer from.
