You're halfway there. Only 7 more seasons before you're caught up :o) Also, I don't mind that you'll skip the season thoughts videos. More time for the next season, which I'm all for.

My advice to you regarding your thoughts videos is at the beginning of the next episodes you do a mini thoughts video while its still fresh in your mind. just quick summaries of your favorite parts or least favorite. you sort of do this already

When Cas woke up after expelling the purgatory souls, I thought you said "Fuck you, guy!" Like a Canadian character on South Park and it made me laugh. Good luck with the new season!

As I was watching your talk at the beginning I was thinking why not do a quick sum up at the beginning of the next season.... Then you said exactly that lol Great minds think alike. Don't worry about it so much. Season 6 is the least enjoyed by the fan base. Some good Episodes but not a great season.

I totally agree with your thoughts about Season 6 having a lot of pacing issues. I mean, I was relieved to finally have Sam being soulless confirmed, but it felt like it took far too long to get there. I enjoyed it more when Dean was aware of Sam's soullessness and their interaction afterward was more interesting to me than when Dean went for several episodes wondering and worrying about WHY Sam was so different and couldn't be trusted. Also I agree that the story with Balthazar and Castiel and getting to the point where we finally found out what was going on behind the scenes with them was so convoluted that I either lost interest in it or forgot what the hell I was supposed to be looking for there. I think the problems in season 6 had more with the new creators and writers of the show trying to find their footing and still manage to do something refreshing with the characters, and they kind of overshot the task. The characters are already compelling enough. I think part of the problem with this show is introducing supporting characters and then not using them to their full potential. Like Ellen and Jo....and Rufus...or Sheriff Mills and Victor Henrickson from earlier seasons. I wish they would've let him have more of a role in the brothers' lives after he found out that they weren't really ruthless serial killers but hunting actual "monsters". They let characters get interesting and then either kill them off, or you rarely see them again. Oh well, you'll just have to see what happens in coming Seasons. I think they improve somewhat after the mad scramble that was Season 6, but IMO, none of them have been like Seasons 1-5. These were Kripke's characters and he seemed to know what to do with them better than anyone who has come along since. But that's just my opinion. :D Anyway, I hope you continue to enjoy.
