I am a big fan of The Flash as a TV show but this episode really highlights how hard it is to consistently write The Flash as a character in terms of power level. Even accepting that this is early days for Barry and he hasn't mastered his powers yet there is no way that he should even take a hit in a fight. In this very same episode he dodges a bullet but he can't dodge a punch. If you're willing to overlook the inconsistencies with Barry's powers and the implications of it then The Flash is a fantastic comic book TV show (IMO much better than Arrow - but behind Legends of Tomorrow). Otherwise, it can start to get a little...frustrating,

Is it possible to upload by the order you've watched these episodes ? or maybe share with us the watch order you're following so we can watch your reactions correctly ?

Yeah, I learned a long time ago to overlook the obvious scientific inaccuracies, especially when dealing with his speed. Mach 1, the speed of sound at normal temp (70 F / 21 C), is almost 750 miles/hour (1200 km/h). In some episodes, he runs faster than this based upon the events because you'll hear a big sonic boom (which happens when an object travels faster than the speed of sound), but then later, they'll say he needs to run at a certain speed and don't know if he can. But.... he ran faster just an episode or two earlier... so....

So enjoy these reactions. You get so excited that it makes it fun for everyone watching. I think you needed this too after the Arrow reactions, a nice pick-me-up for you. I love all the reactions, but prefer the grinning ones to the crying ones.

Well I'm inconsistent too...but not all the time.

Season 1 is a trip. I don't watch Arrow and starred the Arrowverse with the Flash. I then watched Legends and haven't started Supergirl yet.

I really love the flash, love your theory on it, keep them coming.

The Black character couldn't save his wife, because Stagg fired him after stealing his research, meaning he didn't have access to any of his research or equipment - or anything. I'm glad I hadn't read the comics before seeing this show. I had no expectations and no knowledge about Eddie and whatever he was supposed to be from the comics. I could just enjoy everything as it develops. But It's obvious that you're loving this show, and that's awesome.

It was cool to see Simon Stagg and his bodyguard Java, but disappointing for them to be killed off with no mention of Sapphire Stagg (Simon's daughter) or Rex Mason (Sapphire's boyfriend) who became Metamorpho-The Element Man as told in Brave and the Bold #57 (1965). Multiplex (Danton Black) first appeared in DC comics in 1978.
