I've rewatched Lost I don't know how many times. When it premiered it was the most expensive pilot episode ever made, mainly because they purchased an actual decommissioned 747 to tear apart.

We didn't really see Sawyer (Josh Holloway) in this episode, I guess he's more in pilot part 2, but he was also the very first vamp Angel kills in the first episode of Angel. Jin (Asian guy) is the Wolfram and Heart lawyer in Angel. There are a few other Buffy/Angel connections with Lost, including some of the writers. Also Charlie is from Lord of the Rings. And of course Kate (Evangaline Lilly) is The Wasp in the MCU.

If she does end up doing Lost, her mods will have their hands full keeping the spoilers under wraps. This show, even moreso than Buffy, has a ton of classic plot twists and beyond emotional moments. I still can't believe they were able to keep the fact that OMWF was a musical from her. That was impressive.

I hope you pick this up again someday soon. I mean from a completely practical standpoint if you start to lose subscribers after Buffy ends, this would bring about a new crowd. From a less practical stand it’s just really fucking wild and you’ll have a lot of fun 😁

Yup, Daniel Dae Kim is Gavin Park, who Shan will only recently have met in Angel s3. He's had a lead role in another major show more recently, don't think it's one that Shan would watch? Not my usual thing either, but got a bit into it cos James Marsters was in the pilot. I loved Dominic Monaghan as Merry in Lord of the Rings.

Ah, this makes me want to do a re-watch. It's been a lot of years, and I've never re-watched Lost. I loved the show. Great characters, very gripping. Everyone was talking about it when it aired. I think it would be a great show for you to react to Shan at some point, if you're into it. It's a good pilot, but is it ok and not spoilery to say it gets way better? IMHO.

Btw, an anthology means that each episode of Black Mirror is a self contained story, i.e a short story. Used to be used mainly to describe a book that is a collection of short stories or poems by different authors.

In my opinion, this plane crash should have the opposite effect on your fear of flying. As you know, in real life it is almost impossible to survive such a catastrophe. Here many passengers with extremely light to no injuries survived. That should strengthen your confidence rather than weaken it. I sure hope that you will put this show on your schedule someday. Maybe, when your Buffyverse journey is over!?

It always fascinates me the way Boone Carlyle can be such a sweetie but, to me, he's not terribly sexy, while Damon Salvatore just oozes sex appeal. It's the same person! How is that possible?!?

haha i loveeee LOST! You should definetely pick this one up! P.S. Shannon is my favorite character on this show. She's such a bitch but i love it! The actress Maggie Grace played in The Fog with Tom Welling (Smallville) and played a vampire in Twilight Breaking Dawn. Also played Sarah Michelle Gellar's best friend in the movie "Suburban Girl" and now plays on the 4th season of Fear The Walking Dead! I always thought it was pretty funny and awesome that Ian and Maggie played siblings on this show and both played vampires in other shows!
