Ah, season 3 of Angel, my least favorite season of the entire Buffyverse. I truly hope you enjoy it.

For balance I would say season 3 is my second favourite season of Angel.

Yeah, they switched from filming in 4:3 to 16:9. Surprised Buffy always stayed in 4:3. You will find out more about Darla's pregnancy, just keep watching.

Great episode, great reaction. Wesley's still in charge, and I loved how he handled Merle trying to weasel more money. Is there a streaming site you can use in case these skips and cuts keep happening? not sure what's accessible in Australia

I was waiting for your quiet disbelief at the end and I am not disappointed! 😄👌🏻 I don't love season 3, but there are plotlines and things that makes it worth watching nonetheless And yeah! My low-key shipping of Angel and Cordy started in the finale of s2 when she stops his fight with Gru screaming "I love him!" And he thinks she's talking about him. This episode did nothing but build on that kindle 😄

I guess Angel owning the building doesnt change the fact that each hotel room is an individual residence. Just like Kate's Dads apartment was part of a block, he needed permission from the resident, not the person who owned the apartment block

I'm pretty sure James and Elizabeth were version 1.0 and Spike and Drusilla came later. They are in the previous century here. Spike & Dru were made in the Victorian era.

Yeah your copy had a couple weird glitches for some reason. I think Darla says something like "Time to go see Daddy" at the end there. It's been a long time since I watched it. Also the part with Holtz and Darla leaving Angel in the burning barn happened in Season 2 if you can recall.

I think the episode just finishes with her dramatically revealing the baby belly and walking out. I think she had fed on all the people in that bar (pregnancy cravings? 🤷🏻‍♂️)

The scene where Phantom Dennis is taking care of Cordelia is one of my all-time Buffyverse scenes. It's such a nice call-back, and it's just really sweet.

Commenting before watching. ASR has had some pretty epic WHAT?!?!?!? moments. I'm guessing the end of this episode will rank right up there as one of the best.

Love your shocked silence reactions Shan :) There was only a moment or 2 cut off at the end there, Darla turns around more fully. I didn't remember there being any line of dialogue ( that Spencer Williams above mentions). So I checked the transcript for the episode on Buffyword.com ( Don't go there yet Shan!) - and it just says that Darla turns around from the bar and we see her bulging belly, no dialogue. It's as little as 2-3 seconds missing I think, but a shame anyway. Hopefully there’s no more glitches with your episodes. We want you to have a good viewing experience! The other thing I love about this episode - Cordy telling Angel, that him continuing to live and fight the fight is honouring Buffy, rather than some kinda heartsick suicide. I do like Spike and Dru mark 1 though :) James even has the same kinda reckless street fighting attitude as Spike.

Was thinking the same thing. Except that I don't think that Darla or Angel sired them? It's not mentioned that they are vamp family, so I'm guessing they just hang out together.

Oh good, Amy is a series regular so I no longer have to act like Spike is the best character on either show. Blondie Bear is great and all, but nobody holds a candle to Fred, it's not even a competition she is just the bestest.
