A little trivia the title "Sam Interrupted" is taken from the movie "Girl Interrupted" starring Wyonna Ryder and a very young Misha Collins(Cas)!😉👼

Yes!!! My single favourite moment ever! "PUDDING!!" is iconic!! 😁 This episode is so great! Honesty works when you want to get committed 😂

As somebody who works in psychiatric hospitals, I wasn't offended by the language you used. The fact of the matter is, the way psychiatric hospitals are portrayed in fiction is almost always absurdly unrealistic. For instance, in this episode a few obvious things off the top of my head: therapists never try to convince someone their delusion isn't real, somebody would ALWAYS come if a patient is in distress (and certainly if they're calling for help), patients are monitored 24/7 so they can be saved if they try to hurt themselves, suicides are EXTREMELY rare and investigated very carefully (and 4 in one month would get the ward shut down), security is always present so if someone does become violent they can be easily (and gently) subdued before someone gets hurt, therapists would never tell someone not to talk about something in group therapy, patients are VERY rarely physically restrained and when they are it is NEVER the way Sam was, if people are moved to higher security wards it is explained to them and they are never threatened with it, and all higher security wards really means is that there are more security guards so it's nothing to be threatened with anyways. And those are just off the top of my head lol. So this is certainly NOT an accurate portrayal of real life psychiatric wards, so calling this a loony bin is pretty accurate, because that's exactly what it was lol. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong in portraying psychiatric wards this way in fiction, because I understand what they are trying to do is up the fear and drama factors (necessary, because psychiatric wards are actually quite boring in reality) and because it is fiction, people should realize its been over-dramatized. For example, no one watches Legally Blonde and thinks that's exactly what law school and trials are like, since its obviously over-exaggerated for plot purposes. But for some reason people always think psych wards are what they see in TV and movies, I think because not being able to trust your own mind is something people are inherently afraid of, which unfortunately makes it excellent TV, and then we're back in our vicious circle :) You said nothing mean about people who suffer from real life disorders or real life psychiatric wards, so in my books you have nothing to apologize for :) Thanks for the wonderful reaction!!
