Darla singing 'Ill Wind' is one of my favorite moments of the entire Buffyverse.

This is one of Angel's best episodes. It being Drusilla was just perfect. I can't think of a still "living" vampire that would have been a better choice for W&H. Not Angel because of his soul. Not Spike because of his chip and also he probably wouldn't have been a better choice regardless. Drusilla is the most poetic choice for sure. Angel said in Buffy season 2 that making Drusilla was the worst thing he ever did as a vampire. That makes her Angelus' greatest achievement and thus Angel's greatest shame. Perfect choice to resire Darla. William would have loved the poetry of it.

Definitely one of the best episode endings of the entire series, and whole Buffyverse even. Just when the flashbacks made us miss Drusilla......lol. Loved your reaction. Be naughty ASR and Watch the next one watch the next one :-D

With Angel, he and Angelus are always suggested to be 2 distinct people, but with others the line always seems a bit more blurred. Maybe it's the soul. Or maybe it's so that the hero of the show is separate from the monster.

But that moment, when Drusilla walks in the door. That has always stuck out to me as one of the most effective and shocking sucker punches of the show. In the broader scope of the series I understand why it might end up forgotten, but it's one of my favorites and I personally have been waiting for your reaction to it <3 Did not disappoint!

Totally agree. And the look on Angel's face as Dru bites Darla is a pretty amazing portrayal of devastation.
