Suguha/Leafa decided to challenge herself and head of to an area with notoriously stronger monsters known for their strong magic. Even as her friends told her that these monsters possess a unique ability to restrain their foes for a period of time, she didn't heed her friends' warning. Eventually, it was proven that the enemies she faced were too strong and that she had no chance of beating them, and was quickly subdued by their collective magic. 

With no magic or abilities to free herself from the restraints, she had no choice but to wait until it wore off. Meanwhile, the monsters celebrate their victory
