A few weeks ago I thought to myself: hell, why not cater to the Nintendo Switch audience for a change, and given the form factor of the device, the first app idea that came to my mind was creating a proper manga reader for it.

The idea was hatched, a simple prototype whipped up, and today the first finished build was successfully booted on my Nintendo Switch.

So far it supports 4 different manga backends (Mangasee, Mangahere, Mangafox and Kissmanga) with several more backends planned (including fan-favorites like Mangadex & Batoto) before the initial release of the app mid-next-month.

A lightweight version of the app with limited functionality will be made available to the public as part of the upcoming GBATemp Switch Homebrew competition, while my loyal patrons will get the full unlimited version of the app as a thank you for their continued support (as usual).

I hope you guys are looking forward to it as much as I do...

Can't wait to continue reading Bungo Stray Dogs on my Nintendo Switch... :)
