Hello, Folks!!!!!

Time for a little report. I'm a couple days late with this message. Let's talk about HQ animation and what distracted me a bit from writing this post.

All files are pre-renders without processing and possibly missing physics or other elements. Such as non-moving fire in the background. Shots and other effects are a post render job.

Gif files use a different frame rate so the image speed may differ from video.  And Gif files weigh a kiloton so it can take a long time to load.

I got a little stuck in the alley scene. But it's ready to go now. Tomorrow I'll start rendering it and I'll do the main scene with all the vulgarities. In this scene quite a lot of complex elements were but the most difficult moment is of course the minute conversation of the character HQ. Without him no way to go.

Overall I'm happy with how it came out both visually and in terms of animation. I'll probably still make some minor changes to it and the characters today.  I won't tell you what the characters are doing in this alley. Why there was a shootout there and so on. There's not much of a plot basis for the animation. But at least I'll put some basic elements in.

But you can definitely see how she's ready to hold him to her chest.

The scene with the alley came out quite long I thought I'd make it smaller, but that's just the way it is. In some places my video memory tells me that this is its final stop and closes the file. But I'll fix that.  Since I now do render animation immediately after the ready part of the animation a little time I add to polish this scene that would then no longer return to it. So far I like this approach. I don't have to remember what I did a month ago at the beginning of the animation when I come back for the first minutes.

So, uh, here it is. Big announcement. I've made progress with the new render engine cycles.

What progress means in my mind. It is that I have generally achieved acceptable time rendering on cycles while maintaining the quality of animation.  Namely 45 second interval +-10-15 seconds. This is my time to render each frame, which I try to keep.

This means that I can in theory use this engine for my animations. What makes this new engine so good. Yes, because it is much more functional and gives a more realistic image. Glass, reflections, uneven surfaces, body fluids, droplets of sweat, drool, the very body of the character will all look better. Of course, it will still depend on how you use it. Speaking of me, I don't use it very well. But working in this field means always learning something, so it's not the first time I've faced this problem. Also a big plus is that I'm going to update the system and I'm doing it these days. And I think I will be able to improve render time with the update both on eevee(what I am using now) and on cycles.

In the next report I will show you the difference between Eevee and Cycles. I tested render speed in a scene with an alley. And considering that the scene is not prepared for cycles at all and is overloaded in some places, I got not bad result. But I will not redesign the light for the new render engine. So this part will definitely be on Eevee and then we'll see what happens. If everything will be good then maybe I will make scenes on Cycles the rest.

That's it. So far, it's just theory that I'm putting into practice. But if it all works out, it'll be great. So I'll see you in the next report. In which I'll probably already show the scene with the entrance to the hospital and also the ward itself and what will happen there! And thank you for your support you are helping me tremendously to grow and become a better!  All the best!
