Discord is usually to grow a bigger audience, but also exclude content that normally wouldn't be posted on Patreon and other sites. Many artist have begun to only post content on Discord, which has resulted in less artwork being exposed outside for others to get free content. I would personally only do it IF you plan to expand on more exclusive content, for a higher tier fee.
