Tuesday - Update on Content (Patreon)

We have contacted SAG/AFTRA and our questions have been redirected to relevant parties. We have not gotten any clarification yet. If we do not hear back in the affirmative by Wednesday, we will not be releasing reactions to Community or Secret Invasion. We are putting in extra effort to record content so that in either event there are still videos releasing regardless of the outcome.

Questions

When shows return, will you be posting them to the schedule you had before, or will they resume from that point forward (a new schedule basically)?

This depends on the length of the pause. If we resume normal operations shortly, we will just catch up with what hasn’t been posted. If the pause is extended then, the shows will restart their progress of filtering through the Patreon tiers. Any new content we filmed to fill the gaps, would continue as normal once the pause is complete.

How can wave riders help further support Blind Wave as a part of this strike?

You can help Blind Wave simply by continuing to support us as you were before. Watch and share any of our thousands of videos and streams, in addition to new content we will be releasing during this time. If you enjoy our content, consider (or continue) supporting us on Patreon.

Since Blind Wave bank episodes for Patreon up to 4 weeks ahead of YouTube posts. Are the struck shows still available in those tiers?

During this pause, no content will progress through the tiers, nor released on YouTube.

Since you are supporting actors AND writers while they strike, shouldn't you be communicating with the WGA too?

As of this time we have not seen anything from the WGA that has indicated any possible actions, or ceasing of actions, to be taken in relation to the release of our style of content that would support their cause.
