All the fates were deserved but it felt weird.

Didn’t love or Hate it but overall the show was amazing. It seems endings to shows are the hardest to do. I was mad that Genes story ended that way but I did like how John and Sally ended. Also who would think Fukes would survive the show.

It's been growing on me the more I sit on it! Obviously felt a bit weird after watching it and Succession's finale one right after another, but it's funny and feels very appropriate, if a bit rushed.

It took me a few rewatches to get what Bill Hader was going for, but once I understood why certain characters did certain things, I enjoyed the episode a lot more. I still felt like the entire season and the plot lines felt a bit rushed, but I think Hader did the best he could with the 8 episodes he was given to wrap it up

My initial feeling was a bit confused and underwhelmed. I felt like they left some things unresolved and also focused on the wrong things and reiterated other things we already knew. Upon further reflection and discussion with others, I think they actually did resolve everything, in their own way. And I do appreciate the subversion of expectations and usual tropes, while still not quite enjoying the way it did all end. I did love Fuches' arc, however.

I think the “Oh wow” made it for me! The movie ending was weird and funny and so smart! American G.I Joe can do no wrong after all! Sally as a school theatre teacher makes senses. Raven..well it flew. Would have liked a Noho Hank and Barry reunion..in fact would have been happier if it was Noho Hank who walked away at the end instead of Fuches. But overall it worked. My comment is disjointed and abstract to pay homage to the series. :P

I liked it but didn't love it after my first watch but upon rewatching it I definitely love it. Never seen anything like it done before and I'm glad Bill Hader got to achieve his full vision. It was very bold and I think I'll like it more and more the longer I sit on it. A very fitting ending for the absurdly dark comedic world that Barry was.

Wasn't crazy about it, particularly after watching the masterpiece that was Succession's finale. They also should've gotten bigger names for the "movie." Will Forte as Barry, Fred Armisen as Gene, Kristen Wiig as Sally, and Maya Rudolph as Janice.

worst season of barry by far. First three seasons were brilliant. The whole season failed to match a caliber of high quality writing they had previously set. Reducing Cristobal to nothing but a dave&busters fan. Then reinforcing that in an appalling memorial Hank himself oversaw. The thought that Hank wouldn’t honor him properly, but would instead steal his name to start a business and deny even causing his death. Gene now has the worst relationship possible with his son. Barry and Sally having a child and being such horrible parents was the worst choice they could have possibly made. Episode 5 was laughably bad. Ruining their characters and any interest I had in seeing what happens to them. Fuches’ choices didn’t make any sense the entire season, from befriending him in prison, to saving his son moments after calling himself “a man without a heart”. Fuches never saw Barry as his own son, nothing he said or did in the past 3 seasons would imply otherwise. They threw every character in the garbage for no reason. Only highlight was the Guillermo del Toro cameo. They should have never gotten rid of Hiro Murai

Bill Hader knows 3 shots. (Person sitting w/ person standing behind them, far shot of people in desert, person rounds corner and camera tracks them)

I wish it ended after Barry got shot with the theme song playing and title card popping up right after

I can’t tell if this is a joke or not, at one point you mention that Fuches never saw Barry as a son and the show never implied that. Didn’t they have a whole discussion about it in season 1 and we saw that Barry and Fuches have a relationship going back to when Barry was a little kid.

Gene deserved what he got… fucking Henry Winlker fuck that guy.

Didn’t like Barry’s ending but not bad tbh

Because all the main characters were still alive until the end it felt kind of rushed. It was an average episde(for Barry that is good). Overall it is still my favorite show.

Jim moss did some questionable things, his character felt not completed

Turns out that Jim Moss's skills in his garage were way over hyped.

This season was pretty good except that the show wasn't about Barry. When the tension was on it was the most intense thing, and I cared about how all the characters stories would end, but I feel let down this season overall. Barry didn't have a hand in anyone's outcome, nothing changed in this season from him being around. I think Bill Hader shouldn't have directed all the episodes, I think it was too much on his plate to write, direct and act, and he needed more outside input to stay on track. He took himself and character out of the show too much. Also why does Feukes get to live? Everything that has happened since the first episode is his fault, he created a monster then wouldn't let him try to become a better person. I think Barry is the perfect show up until season 3 if season 4 was better it would have been incredible, there was so much potential to go out with a bang.
