Some fun facts regarding one of the best parody episodes in community: -The medical examiner, actress Leslie Hendrix, actually also played one in Law and Order (Dan Harmon sent her an e-mail asking her to reprise her role in order to add authenticity to the episode) -Star Burns was 'killed off' as a character because the actor (who also writes for the show) needed time to focus on his production company (Starburns Industries) as they began working on the stop-motion film Anomolisa. The death also conveniently tied into the show's theme. -According to the dvd commentary, during the scene where Annie and Jeff talk about the case outside, one background actor can be seen wiping her mouth, while a male actor follows behind her zipping up his pants. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/community-sitcom/images/3/39/Borchert_wipe.gif/revision/latest?cb=20140618194514 -Chevy Chase shot his scene this episode without having to interact with any of the main cast, using body doubles for Donald Glover, Chevy Chase and Danny Pudi in the shot/reverse shot conversation between the characters.
