Ted lasso is so much better & would of get way more views & new Patreons. Always an L in Philadelphia is a Terrible pick because it’s Gonna take up the time slot for years like Naruto

S1 and S2 of Sunny you can definitely tell they're trying to figure out what exactly the show is. You enjoy the laughs and stick around and it pays off big time.

Sunny is a great show, but no matter how good the crew is, it's not really a show that invites improvement w/ reaction.

Another show I've never seen before outside of a few memes, can't wait to sit down and watch with the crew. B99 was a great new find for me, so looking forward to It's always sunny.

*sigh* Always Sunny huh? Yet another show that I really dislike winning a poll and this time it’s gonna be 3+ years till they finish it. Oh well.

Personally, I’m not upset about Always Sunny winning as it’s a show I’ve been meaning to watch myself for a long time. However, I do think there is valid concern that we are locking all of the poll shows into shows that will take years to finish. This will result in less variety overall on the channel and far less polls. I mean, in the time that it will take them to watch Sunny they could watch multiple other sitcoms. I don’t think a lot of people think about how long a show will take to finish when they vote and they just vote for their favorite shows. Just as long as we’re aware we’ll get less polls when all the poll shows are 100+ episodes.

Dam I knew always Sunny would win, the shows popular and on going so not only are we stuck with it for at least 3 years, but I doubt it’s going to end any time soon

Im so happy I get to rewatch sunny with both blindwave and the normies. I think it’s one of the most raw comedies I’ve ever seen but I kind of fell out of it a few years ago so I can’t wait to finish it with my two favorite reaction channels. 😊

And on queue the complaining starts. Personally I don't think I've liked a poll show that's won in the last year and a half but Blindwave being Blindwave there's always something else that does interest me, like the Star Wars stuff. I don't get this mindset that everything they watch has to be something you also like, especially given this is what the broader audience voted for. So much entitlement these days.

Locking up a show for x amount of years is a minimal concern for people who want to see their favorite show reacted to. It's not really something most people consider, or should consider for that matter, when voting for something. The people vehemently complaining about it are just unhappy the show they voted for lost or they're trolling. I'm happy we're getting years of quality comedy on The Blindwave.

It’s not a minimal concern for people who don’t like the show they’re reacting to tho. It’s a lot easier to stomach a poll slot being taken up for a few months when you know the show you’ve been wanting them to watch forever could be next. It’s a lot more discouraging when now you know that show doesn’t have a chance for 3 years. There has pretty much always been multiple shows I want them to watch on the polls so I usually vote for the shorter ones first because that way they can get through more shows that the community wants them to watch. I’m excited for Sunny tho just playing devils advocate. There’s a lot of people trolling about it but I do think some of the concerns/complaints are valid and shouldn’t just be dismissed as entitled or trolling.

Why is everyone so concerned about the length of the shows the BW crew reacts to? They have always picked shows (like the one this is replacing B99) with a large number of seasons. Settle in, it's something to look forward to every week!

The argument is that "shorter shows take shorter amount of time". But with that logic, there is never going to be time for the longer ones because there are always going to be new popular short shows.

I think the main concern is people just want them to watch more shows in general, not necessarily “new popular” shows. For example, they could watch The Good Place, Ted Lasso, and Arrested Development all in less time than it will take them to finish Sunny. They could watch like 20 other anime’s in the same amount of time it will take them to finish Naruto lol. Just a couple examples I don’t necessarily agree with that ideology but I can understand it. At the end of the day there will never be enough time for them to watch everything so some people would rather them get through more shows overall since there’s so much to watch.

For sure, I get that. I 'm just not sure why the goal needs to be to finish as many series as possible. If a show is great, it's nice to live in it and its world without rushing for some conclusion. But I can see where ppl are coming from

Yeah, overall I agree with you but I think hypothetically if they said to all Patrons “we are only going to be doing this reaction thing for another 5 years” then I think most people would rather they watch as many shows as possible in those 5 years rather than a few really long shows regardless of how good they are. I’m along for the ride either way and enjoy watching things I haven’t seen with them so I don’t get upset about it but I get why others do.

I think the later episodes of Sunny are gonna warrant better reactions. But the Good Place was my second pick. Definitely a great watch. I hope they get around to it one day.
