I'm so glad you caught that Yang's health was 1 hit from KO. Mercury is so good that he set her up to give her the max charge so she could win. He was not even trying to beat her. He was trying to make the fight look convincing. That takes skill. He even smirked when he heard her semblance pop. Then he feigned surprise when he turned around. Since Team RWBY fought the Paladin vs Torchwick and everyone showed up to fight he Grimm invasion in Volume 2, Cinder and her cronies have info on everyone. Mercury knew exactly what he was doing. The shot of all the people around the world watching was to illustrate just how many people they can effect emotionally. This is like if Michael Phelps broke the leg of an opponent live during the Olympics. The Grimm are getting riled up and the schools and Ozpin look bad as well.

I love and hate this episode because of all the plot. I love how for this serious situation I'm pretty sure Qrow isn't drunk or at least pacing himself. I always love the innocuous question of fairytales Ozpin asks Pyrrha. I love the legend of the maidens. Also I am now convinced that Ozpin's semblance has something to do with time and he is the old man in the story. I love how magic now exists in the world of RWBY and it explains why Monty, Miles and Kerry were so adamant about to Dust not being magic. I love how freaked out Pyrrha was becoming because it reflects how I think everyone was reacting. I like seeing this anxious side of her because I don't think we have ever seen her this freaked out. I also like learning the 4 maidens are real and they want her to be one. It also brings up the question of if Winter's and Summer's names are a coincidence or not and who the other maidens are currently. I love the explanation of what the maidens are and how their power is passed. I like how Qrow thinks the way the power is passed on stupid and he is still the funniest character. I love how there is a giant vault under the school. I like the design of the previous Fall Maiden Amber. Also I think we all know who incapacitated Amber and that is Cinder. I'm scared but also excited about the fact the world of RWBY might soon have a war to worry about. I love the fact that half the power of Fall and the other half has been stolen by Cinder. Her getting the rest of the power would be terrifying. I love how all this information used to be common knowledge but now is secret to protect the maidens and their power from evil. I love how Ozpin and the others are a secret society like the White Lotus. I love how Pyrrha immediately accepts because it will help humanity. I love how more and more we see how misguided ironwood and in turn Atlas are with how he wants to give Pyrrha the Fall maiden’s power. I agree that transferring someone’s Aura to someone else is extremely wrong. I feel bad for Pyrrha having such a heavy decision on her hands. And also I’m scared for what will happen if she does accept and I think something bad will happen to her. I love the unnamed singles fighters who I think are based on Robin Hood and Native American culture. I love how Prof. Port calls Oobleck Barney. I love how awesome both Yang and Mercury are in their fight. Especially Mercury’s homing bullets and how they are both equal in strength and skill and I don't think Mercury was holding back. I love how Yang defeats Mercury. When I thought he was attacking Yang I was like you bastard and then oh God she fucking broke his leg. Also harsher in hindsight but Ruby did say to break a leg. It makes sense that Yang would react like that because I think she hates cowards. It's horrifying that the Grimm from Mountain Glenn are now attracted to Vale because of all the new negative emotions. Just before they showed the instant replay I realized something was terribly terribly wrong. I'm really scared and excited now that Cinder has finally initiated her plan. I am sure that Mercury is behind what Yang saw and that his semblance causes hallucinations because the substance Mercury can cause hallucinations. I think he caused what Coco saw too. I am scared and feel really bad for Yang because she looked horrified and confused when she realized what she thought happened had not actually happened.I love all the music in the episode but especially the slow piano version of I Burn at the end. Also Mercury and Emerald are really good at acting because even though his leg was really broken I think things were a little too convenient and his pain tolerance has to be higher than that. Also everyone who knows Yang will believe her story and I think Coco might come to her defense since she’s seen hallucinations when dealing with Mercury's team. A theory I have is if Mercury didn't know the full plan will be turn against Cinder and eventually become good. Also I doubt Yang will be arrested but with Ironwood who knows.

Qrow is definitely the Scarecrow, and Ironwood is definitely the Tinman. I suspect that the other two headmasters that we haven't met yet, would be the Cowardly Lion and Dorothy... but there's no evidence of that, that's just my own personal theory.

So the Yang and her mom scene isn't non-cannon it was a dream. If you go back and watch it you can hear a twinkle which in anime (and most tv for that matter) means it is a dream.

Btw do you guess remember back in Volume 1 Chapter 3 when Blake was readying a book. A book about a man with two souls each fighting for control over his body. Aura = soul so if they take Amber's soul and put it into Phyrra she would at that point have two souls.

Many (me included) believe it was a dream, but for the life me I can't figure out what the entire sequence means. -Was it just a face reveal for Raven? -Did Raven somehow communicate with Yang in her dreams? -What did they talk about? -Why hasn't this dream sequence been mentioned again? Maybe CRWBY will answer these questions one day

Has anyone noticed the maidens Look like all of Team Rwby but Blake. One looks like Weiss, One Looks Like Yang and One Looks Like Ruby. But ones Ora of the Maidens looks different then Blake but then again Blake has Yellow Eyes.

Ya I'm wondering when 3x7 is going to come out too. This one was 7 days ago, so I assume 3x7 was supposed to be released today.
