Even though El's parts in this episode were badass, we already know she is. That's why I think Jonathan beating up Steve was a surprise and was long overdue. I still don't mind Steve I think he just acts the way he does because of who he is Friends with.

I think beside the fact that El was totally badass during that moment, that also is a moment that is confirming to her that she does have friends and that she sees it that way for herself. She was standing up for her friends.

You need to think of things from Steve's point of view. This creepy ass guy takes photos of her naked and then you go to her house and she has the guy with her in her room? I think anyone would be pissed. Also if he didn't really like her he wouldn't be so pissed. He went a little too far talking about Jonathan's family but he thinks his gf is balling this guy anyone would be pissed

Even though I love El and every time she does something badass (I voted for her "turn" last time) this time I'm going with Jonathan Beating Steve. I don't hate Steve as much as Calvin does but he had it coming after he said that shit about Will and Joyce. Sure Jonathan was being a total weirdo taking those photos but Steve called him out on it AND broke his camera. Jonathan has probably been the outcast and bullied his entire life, I guess he just snapped. Steve put up a pretty good fight though! Anyway, fight scenes are awesome.
