Penelopes new ears (Patreon)

Since I plan to go thru with this I thought I tell ya guys what my Plans are.

Atm Penelope belongs to the Closed Species of JunkYardRabbit, I bought her as a custom design back in 2014. After 10 years, now I really wanna get her out of that Closed Species.

I thought about this for at least 2-3 years and now I'm going through with it.

I dont wanna start any drama but I need to move on and keep going with my branding and ideas.
I already started flashing out the "Orcadragon" species for my Universe so I can finally give Penelope a family, and lore that fits.

Penelope has been my most liked OC for years now and changing her drastically is just not possible and I dont want that.
So the ears gonna be the only and biggest change since they seem to be the biggest flagship feature of JunkYardRabbits closed species.
Anthro anatomy and thick hands are not claimable.
Also, she stays a hybrid between a Dragon and an Orca. Hence an Orcadragon

I understand if people may not like it but again I need to think of my future and I just dont want my OC to be part of a quite dead closed species.

Hope you all understand.
Maybe one day I share the concept work I got for my Orcadragon species.
But for the moment showing the rough sketches of her new ears is enough.

I understand some people can be busy and most likely gets tons of DMs a day, but when I was dealing with JYR, it took days, a week, or even longer for her to respond. I don't like pestering folks but, I paid a lot of money to get a custom Orca for a friend. Hell, poor Jizue, JYR's primary Orca artist, has been trying since the beginning of March to have her post up the adopts he made cause he needs the money. He said he can't post them without her posting first so he has been just sitting on them. I love the species but, man... Wish JYR was easier to get ahold of. Penelope is still super cute. Flopy eared or not. Can't wait to see the change finalized!

Idk if she is busy or just doesn't pay attention. I dont wanna sound mean but I see her posts on Twitter and Instagram regularly and it feels like taking 10 minutes out of your day to approve some adopts isn't much to ask for. I heard a lot over the years that she doesn't reply and it can take weeks or months to get an answer. If the species was managed better I would not need to take Penelope out and do my own thing ;;

I am not at all aware of what the situation is with Closed Species or orcadragons, but I support your decision. She is your character and you are free to do as you like in my opinion. Penelope is also an amazing character, so I would love to see more art of her in the future.
