Hey folks,

It's time for a new game progress report.

Disclaimer: I'm posting these to be transparent on game development and show progress done. However, it goes without saying that some of the stuff you see here may be considered to be spoilers. Although I do my best to keep the big narrative points out (and believe me, there is a lot I would like to show, but that I'm leaving out for you to find and experience in game),


This report will be a short one as I'm currently on the final stretch for a 3072 AD patch release.

With that said, here is what you need to know:




- New Barb-Mini game fully animated and functional -


The new face-sitting mini-game, along with its various animations, is now coded and fully functional.

I am very happy with the result. I hope you will all too.

- Balancing the numbers  -

Not the most glamorous part of game dev. But a necessary one. I learned my lesson after Splatter to not try to balance the number in-engine (too time-consuming to render and test every time).

So for the sake of efficiency and batter balancing, I'm now using an external approach, using Excel to set-up a "numbers" simulation of sorts, where I check the effects of different scenarios in real time.

This should allow for a better experience right out of the gate.

- Road to the next patch -

All and all... The game systems are running as expected. The play menu is functional, consequence/scene for loosing all your stamina have been added with different results depending on what "play" you were doing when it happened.

The boot licking and face sitting mini-game are ready, and balanced.

So what's mostly left to do is scene writing, setting up events ect.

I'm fairly confident for a patch release early January (Early access to tier IV first, then released to tier III after a week or two of bug fixing)

The only thing is that I may have to push the "reward" scene for completing barb's first trials to the next patch. Which is not a big issue as it's a nice place to break the content at.

- Squeal little piggy -

Not a lot of progress on Squeal little piggy this month, but fear not I will be back in force on it after 3072 AD patch comes out. My focus is on that right now as a next patch release is now really close.

I checked its the game over scene for the maid boss

i figured out why it was 2.2 so i just updated to 3.3a but it seems quite laggy as in it takes 1s to move or chance text

its quite choppy compaired to the 2.2version of the game so i was wondering if you know how to fix that on my end or will you be optimizing it
