My Gender Preferences Randomizer tool is in Early Access for The Sims 4! This tool offers the ability to randomize the romantic desires of Sims in your world and who they will woohoo with. Here's how it works!

Enable Testingcheats On and use the command console to type Carl.RandomPrefs - this will run the script with default values. It will make about 65% of Sims straight, 20% homosexual, and 15% bisexual. There will also be a dash of aromantic Sims to add some variety.

Carl.RandomPrefs can take up to 3 commands after it. If you type:

Carl.RandomPrefs 35 20 5

The mod will make 35% gay, 20% bisexual, and 5% aromantic. So it goes in that order.

Default values are 20, 15, 6 - so if you do not put any numbers, it will still work, but it will use the default, which was a setup that my friends and I felt was a comfortable balance between reality and a more open Sims world.

Straight is the default for Sims who are not placed into the gay, bi, or aromantic categories and thus it has no value. If you want all Sims to be gay, enter Carl.RandomPrefs 100 0 0 - all but a few stragglers will be made gay.

This mod does not impact player sims or pets. It does seem to work on children, but their romance interactions don't appear until Teen and up.

INSTRUCTIONS: Unzip and place the ts4script file in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods folder. Enable Script Mods in your Game Options > Other.

I was hoping someone would make this! Do you need to run this cheat every time you start playing, or only when you start a new save? And how does it affect newly spawned sims?

Does the randomizing include played sims? Or can I randomize and the sexuality options that I picked for my own sims will stay the same?

Is this compatible with Lumpinou's LGBTIQA+ mod?

Anonymous

Compatible, most likely; integrated, no. The game system and the LGBTQIA+ Mod system don't work smoothly together yet. Lumpinou is working on an update that will better integrate her system with the game system (e.g. assigning the mod's respective traits to Sims with CAS orientation assignments).

Update: for the hotfixed LGBTQIA+ Mod to work correctly right now you need to leave CAS assignment of orientation set to default for all Sims. So no, they aren't compatible.

Perhaps a stupid question but is it compatible with Wonderful Whims? (specifically the attraction system in that mod)

So I enabled cheats, only put in Carl.RandomPrefs and I got this -> Error: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘get_statistic’ ? Any help here would be great
