Fishing Overhaul Patch and Island Living Fishing Guide (Patreon)

This covers the Sims 4 base game patch that came out ahead of Island Living. it made substantial changes to many functions of the fishing skill, which was badly in need of an update. Bait changed, examine water, the notebook (slightly) and fish tuning in general. Players also receive a new Angle for Big Catch ability that unlocks at high level. Here's a guide to those changes and how you can take advantage of them. We also dip into fishing traps, fishing from canoes, and the Mermaid's Aquatic Lure ability and how it helps. 

I took a little break as the review video kind of burned me out on a few different levels. I'm back though and eager to tackle more of Island Living, no pun intended. Thanks for your support everyone - I'm going after a new PC in the next month to help me convert video faster. A long term investment into the future I guess. My CPU has only 4 cores and I'll be going to one with 12, so it'll absolutely shred through that footage and make it much easier for me. This video took about 12 hours of working on script, footage, and editing and about 2 hours of that was just converting video. I can be a little slow but yikes. A secondary upside is this will free up more time from the video side to mess with text guides.

Comments on the channel have grown so much it's really hard to keep up with them. I try to respond to at least some people and will do so when I am rested. It's surely a good problem to have but, I did really enjoy that if someone asked me a question I was likely to see it or have time for it.
