The battles at both the Entertainment Distract and the Swordsmith Village were monumental victories for the Demon Slayer Corps as half of the Upper Rank demons were slain by their blades. Yet what they also couldn’t overlook were their casualties; many perished while others were grievously wounded.

With these turn of events Muzan Kibutsuji would surely get more ferocious and desperate in their upcoming campaign. They needed to improve quickly thus a new harsh training regimen was implemented. From the common recruit to the experienced Hashira, all undertook the training. That was with the exception of Shinobu Kocho.

The Insect Hashira could be found indoors making preparations for the battles to come. It was a meticulous task, making sure everything was correctly prepared. Her work was interrupted only by Mitsuri Kanroji checking in on her.

Though acknowledging the importance of her work, the Love Hashira expressed concern by Shinobu’s neglect of physical training. At least, that’s what she purported to be her concern. She ‘conveniently’ knew a quick-fix solution for that. With her signature faux smile and a barely concealed vein showing through her head, Shinobu ‘kindly’ asked Mitsuri to leave.

She responded by grabbing Shinobu’s wrists and pinning them to her workstation, promising to leave her alone if she could make her lose her grip. This wasn’t fair! Mitsuri knew she’d never beat her in a contest of physical strength. Unable to break free, Shinobu resigned herself to whatever the Love Hashira had in store.

This ‘quick-fix’ required Shinobu’s hands bound and her feet in stocks. Mitsuri explained she was going to tickle her silly because it would help improve her breathing technique. The Insect Hashira’s mind was full of doubt upon seeing Mitsuri remove her socks in a manner that could best be described as sensual. Did she see hearts in her eyes?
