Tuesday update (Patreon)

And the world keeps spinning, making us reach another Tuesday update! Hello everyone, had a good Easter? Ate lots of croissants?  I know I didn't...! Mostly cause I forgot that the shop would be closed, so I survived off of soup and broccoli that day.

Oh the gif? I've actually seen the video of it a looong time ago, but lost the source (sorry). We'll let the memory live on in this awesome gif though.

The Game

Not much to update you on. Did some re-writes for the intro. Seriously, you luckily didn't have to experience this for OT, but writing a good intro takes serious amounts of time! The length, the amount of story, too much exposition, too little exposition. I'm gonna stick with what I've got now, simply because I want to move on to other things. I'll probably tweak it a bit more in the future, but I'm pretty happy with what I got now.

In an effort to speed things up a bit, I've started sending out trial commissions to artists to draw outfits for the game. This will hopefully take off some of the pressure from my main artist and help speed things up. I've sent out 3 or 4 trials, so hopefully I can update you on that next week.

Art

Coming next week! In the meantime, I could show you all the original trial commissions which I sent out when production on the game started though! It's always fun to look back on things and see where it all began.

Some of these people are still working on the game today as background or support artists.

Reading / Gaming

I've mostly been reading my own script for the last week! So yeah, not much done on that front. As for gaming, I like to boot up Paladins every once in a while, but I also went back to~... APB: Reloaded. Yeah! Remember that game that no one remembers? I know I do!

In one of my previous posts I described my attraction to dumpster fires and oooh boy, is APB on that list. a $100 million dollar 'mmo' which tanked haaaaard. However, there's a reason why I went back to it~.... And I'll tell you about it next week!
