Halloween update (version 15.6) - 2spoopy4me (Patreon)

'Ello everybody. Turned the Halloween event back on. For those who weren't here last year, you can now collect Trick or Treat bags by visiting planets.

You can get:

  • Outfits
  • Accessories
  • Modifications
  • Candy!

Also:

  • New ingame model for the Geonosian tailor
  • Bug fixes

Unfortunately, there's been some delays with the art for the orgy scene, so I'll try including that in the next update.

Hey there, just letting you know about an error from 'dev start' NameError: name 'randomLSMissions' is not defined in game/StarForgeRooms.rpy Seems to be popping up in normal start as well.

Hi there, does it break the game completely? Or can you ignore the error and continue on? I'll try to put out a fix tomorrow. =)

While it can be ignored (there are like 4 recurring instances of the error,) it happens every time you return to the 'lobby' screen with the galactic map. So I would say, while you can continue past them, they break playflow completely.

Only thing I noticed is it said I found a Jedi Artifact, but it's nowhere to be found in my inventory. Thanks for another great update! The new costumes are excellent.

Oh, and a minor Geonosis bug (no pun intended) is when on the planet if I click explore, it gives me the "you set off for Geonosis" message and basically creates a loop. (easy enough to get out of but I can't explore the planet) Only downside is now I can't actually explore it for stuff.

Does anyone know how to "find" Ahsoka during the explore phase of "Crazy Eyes?"

New issue, When attempting to hunt at Taris, it fades to black, then when I click, it goes to the Geonosis interaction screen, Aborting the hunt. Additional error, "Game showed a message I wasn't supposed to see. mission10 status is 14."

Another bug I noticed is that every time I unlock a Clone Trooper outfit it stays on the screen during dialogue and prompts. Luckily it doesn't show up during scenes or over characters but it's still almost always there. I also can't seem to finish my bounty. I hunt on every planet and never find him.

Hey there Raining. Who's Clone Trooper outfit stays on screen? Ahsoka's, Shin's or Kit's? Bounties are a bit iffy and still need to be tested more thoroughly.

Shin's and Kit's. They only show up whenever there's a menu of any kind on the screen, like the inventory, dialogue or on planets. (and black load screens, but disappear on the main hub and bedroom if I've not opened anything) They also show up over the strip club scene but not sex scenes if that helps narrow it.

I was thinking, about the ability to store smuggled goods in the game. It would be nice if there was some way to know if selling will be good at any given time. Say, you open the storage, and get the message "you have [X amount] of goods. At this time, a buyer with a low/moderate/high reputation has been found". Just something, so it's not completely arbitrary if you make a profit or not? Other than that, I'd just like to say I'm incredibly impressed by the game. It is more than I could ever make. Keep up the good work.

Just a small bug i came across when playing from the beginning, but right after bringing Shin'na to the station, I had the option "Discussing the Sith" with her, despite not being anywhere near the mission "Crazy Eyes".

Maybe it could be connected to influence? Low influence = Low reputation buyer = high risk of being held at gunpoint, and high Influence = more likely to attract high reputation buyers = likely to sell for a profit? Then again, that might be too elaborate and needlessly complicated. I don't know. I couldn't code a calculator, so I'll leave the decision to the guy who actually knows how to code a game.

Hey Serial, I'm trying to figure out what's caused the Rakghoul issue. Do you remember if you brought Ahsoka along with you to hunt them? Or maybe what was said during the mission?

I am unsure, unfortunately I was playing while skipping a lot of text, but didn't have ahsoka with me, she was always out on jobs. But I wonder if the skip text could have caused a condition where a flag never cleared.

Would be nice to modify breast size and, to make it more achievable, only show that modification in the surgery table and when ashoka goes to see you at night ;)

Hey there PatreonFox, So a lot of the ingame assets were made with different breast sizes in mind, but adding them in ended up taking so much time and prone to glitches that I ended up not doing it unfortunately.

Yea in regards to what L.P. Winston is asking, I also was wondering how do you plan to use/implement the holiday such items into the final version if you don't mind sharing some future plans?

Hi there LP, This will be the last time there will be a holiday event ingame. So best get your items while you can! I'll try coding in something in my next game that allows me to check which month it is, but that's no longer possible with this one.

So I used a variable called $ day in this game. I shouldn't have done that, because I 'think' it can be used to check what day it is in real life. With that, I can try and code holiday to trigger if their holiday is up. That's still 'very' experimental, so don't count on it just yet. =)
