New Year News (Patreon)

May as well announce a change that will be happening in January to my Patreon tiers. 

I have effectively removed the Gold Tier starting next month, meaning only $5, $15, and my two $250 patrons remain.

This was done in an effort to cut down on my required monthly workload so as to give myself more time to either work on my own ideas for comics/images or to pursue learning new programs and tools to deliver better content to you guys, as well as creating more opportunities to open up commission slots for many people who keep asking for them.

On the topic of commissions, I know that in the past my rates have been $100 for a good smattering of images, but that will be changing the next time I open back up. From now on, my minimum commission rate will be at least $250.

Why? The past times I've opened commissions they were periods of extreme stress for me. Diplomatically-speaking, some client(s) and I had radically-different approaches to the commission process. In addition to the price change, I will also be giving my commission guidelines an overhaul and post them in a new post dedicated to commission stuff in general. I will be strictly adhering to them. If a client cannot abide by the conditions I set, there will be no commission, and they will get whatever money they have paid me as long as no work has been performed on my end.

Lastly, I know many of you are probably wondering what this means in general for F.U.T.A.  Honestly? I don't know. I don't even know if the removal of the Gold Tier will be permanent. I just want to try new things and give myself the best chance I can to pursue those things and minimize my chances of burning out from looking at the same characters every month.  

As it stands, things I want to do are finish some of the dangling sequel ideas I have in my head, like the finishing of the "Mouthful" trilogy I have in mind, finishing Broken IV, finishing Punch Drunk 2, maybe stepping back into Hylore now that you guys know who I am. I'd love to also extend my knowledge further into animation, and as more time goes on I realize more and more that Daz simply won't fulfill my needs. I will need to learn another program.  

TL;DR -

Gold Tier is gone, possibly permanently.
More commissions will become available.
F.U.T.A. is on an indefinite hiatus while I finish other series like "Mouthful" and "Punch Drunk."

With all that said, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Even if you don't celebrate both holidays, the spirit of them is very much alive in all of us. It's a season of giving and turning new leaves, and you guys have given me so, so much.

I seriously could never express my thanks enough to all of you for helping me turn this new leaf in my own life and pursue something I honestly never would've dreamed I could pursue.

I keep saying it, but I don't feel I can say it enough.
