Sketches for this month

The Solo mik one was still done using my normal blue sketch tones but I used a light brown wash over it to help me test out the colors for the clothing. I couldnt decide between black, grey with black linings, pink with white linings, blue and black, or blue and white. I wanted to have the color choices done before I started on the background.

As for the Tristana and Kindred sketch lol man.... I repainted it over and over again for the faces, ear shapes, hair, goggles, mask, and the blue swirl patterns. I also couldnt decide on nipple color. It was a dumb mess and at some point after I inked an older version I started painting over and touching up the sketch below as I inked above and this result is what I have left by the time the inks were finished. I struggled so much on the designs and the initial version was so stiff but Im so much happier with what I ended up with. It took so much extra time.
