In the last image Daniel Greg asks

"I know this is a tangent from this art piece but have you ever drawn Mik in a human form cuz if I remember correctly, when I was searching through your furaffinity gallery (towards the early years since you started) I came across a female human character in which you stated that that will later on become Mik. Is that still her in her human form or has she become a completely separate entity as of now?"

Here is my response!

I have never drawn human Mik as far as I can remember. The character of mine that was a basis for Mik is still a distinctly different character though I kept the Gutts scar over the nose here for theming and skin tone because despite her name being distinctly Easter European she has always been a Carribean Islander. For me character designs are basically a grab bag of things I like that I mix and match as I see fit. Most of my designs don't get used for any consistent reason anyway but I can still trace back the origins of this or that... Mik, original impetus aside, being inspired by a combination of Caska (Berserk), Kid (Chrono Cross), and Dilandau (Escaflowne), and Squall (Final Fantasy 8)... my conception of her voice being along the lines of Kaine (Nier).

So is the character I've drawn before still her human form? No. She is still her own character. Although she looks vaguely similar to Mik her longer wavy hair, body type, and grim personality (she is a rifle toting hardass afterall) make it very apparent that they are not the same. A  human Mik would look a lot like what I just drew here.

Fur/ patterns aside very little has changed. Lips, ears, and nose... and that's about it. I kept 98% of the lineart and 100% of the highlights and shading/ details. The only real difference are the nips and scar colors. In her human form they are a bit lighter to stand out more.

I would imagine this has been answered before, but I've been curious for awhile now. What is the torso scar from?
