Personal art - Mik's possible new hair (Patreon)

I am human so I feel things and sometimes I need to draw art reflective of that fact. So I'm now gonna. Some of these pieces will be posted publicly simultaneously but the benefit for subscribing here is the HD version I guess. The main goal in pointing this out is separating art done specifically with patreon in mind and art done for me. For a while I've been deliberately doing things no one asked me to do with Patreon in mind. That's over. Patreon specific art will have more structure and will be my top priority.... but not everything will be an explicit show piece for Patreon. I'm rambling but I'm sure you understand.

Anyway possible new look for Mik. Updating her all the way to 2015 with her hair! Going less cute more artsy with some of the content too going forward. I repeat... some.

And Mox pearls for reasons.

People go through stages of their self discovery and that includes changes in hairstyle, clothing style and personality. If anyone gives you guff, ask them to think back to how they were back in the year Mik was created... It's your character. And she's just as wonderful and gorgeous like this too. So do what feels right =3

I personally don't like the hair, I always found the sort of shave on the side to be unattractive but there's no stopping what you want to do. You do you.

Experimenting is a great way to keep things fresh, and that she is ultimately your character. I love the pearls a lot, but do think the hair style change here is a bit on the wild side.

My opinion is of course my opinion, but I’m not a huge fan of this style on Mik. It’s your art though so you do you!

Neat! Is it shaved on both sides with the top-center untouched, or is it half-and-half? A little hard to tell from the side.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with with this new motivation. I kinda like the hair style, but it'll take a minute to get used to. Happens that way with characters we see as somewhat real. Speaks to the personality you've managed to imbue in her.

As with everyone else, mad respect for the artists decision to do what ever with their own character, but I don't personally like this style nearly as much as " classic " Miks style, but experimentation is how you find cool ideas so, that's absolutely neccesary to test and see !
