308 - Merry Christmas!!! (Patreon)

Hello there, bros. How are you doing this fine Monday? The year is almost over, can you believe it? Next Monday Post will be on December 1st of the year 2024! Damn...

The work. During this week I was working on coding and writing, which means I have absolutely nothing new I could show off to you in this post. This morning I thought that maybe I should make this post into a super short proof-of-life post, but I really hate doing those. I always want to share at least something...

So I started thinking, and I was thinking and thinking and thinking some more, an then an idea came to me: I could take pictures of my development notes! That is something I never shared before and should liven up the post at least a little bit. So as you can see I did just that.

Since I work alone I have no need for concept arts or storyboards, I usually just keep all that stuff in my head. But sometimes I still write things down in order not to get lost in my thoughts completely. Queen Trainer has a lot of stuff going on in it, so I had to make more notes than I ever did for any other of my games.

Work. Work. This week I will be doing more of the same: coding, testing, writing missing bits. I honestly have no idea if I will have anything exciting to show next week. We will see how it goes. -_-

The Beauty Pageant. I remember Mr.Lazare asking me about this in one of the comments, but I forgot to reply and finding that comment now would take time, so instead I will talk about this right now. I had some extra events in mind that could only be attended in the post-game, with your wives, The Beauty Pageant was one of them, but for the moment I am putting all that extra stuff on hold. My main goal right now is to finish up everything that is already in the game, replace all the placeholder scribbles with proper art, test things, fix bugs.

As it is now the game has more than enough content already. The way this game is built I can always add extra things in Gold Edition. For now my main goal is: test, fix bugs and fill in the blanks. Don't get too excited, it won't be ready for release "tomorrow", I still have a lot of stuff to do. But at least I won't be adding any major things anymore (I hope) so things should start taking the final shape now.

This is all I have to say about the work. Next I will talk about nonsensical IRL stuff.  ^_^

"Confessed Your Love To Panina." Not that anyone cares but I continue to play the War Mariage. Finally got to the point where I get to choose the girl to end the generation with. The game is a lot of fun it continues to surprise me. For example I had no idea that improving my relationships with the heroines would translate to them wearing less clothing into the fight. Next surprise was that after a certain point I get to choose what underwear their wear. And finally the story itself continues to be fanservisy in a very cute way. ^^

My PSP MicroSD adapter is here! Whoohoo! My, original 32 GB card still works fine, but I want more space for more awesome games!!! XD So yeah, the adapter is here, but I am still waiting for my joystic replacement to arrive. For now I am limited to the games that don't use joystic controls.

Suddenly and randomly I spent about half an hour playing PSOne version of RED ALERT on my PSP yesterday. Plays well and looks fantastic. It was very relaxing to just forget what year it is right now and travel into the past like that. ^^ (And since it's a PSOne game faulty joystic did not hinder the experience for me :)

Believe it or not that is all the news I had to share. Marry Christmas everyone, and I will see you all next year. ^^
