237 - Drawing, Inking and Coloring. (Patreon)

Hello, bros. How is life? It's Monday and that means another Monday Post from yours truly. Let's goooooo! ^^

New Patreon UI. I completely hate the barebones look of it, but I already talked about this in the last week's Monday Post. The text editor remains completely broken on OPERA so I had to download Google Chrome just now so that I could edit this post properly. Everything seems to be working fine now. But it was always working fine on OPERA as well, and new update broke everything. And here I thought updates are supposed to make things better. I guess that is just me being and old man with my oldfashinoned thinking. These days UPDATE = DOWNGRADE -_-

The MEGA bulshit. I already talked about this on my twitter, but I know some of you have don't use twitter(in which case I don't blame you, twitter is a trash basket), so let me tell you what happened. Several days ago I was trying to login to my MEGA account and got greeted with "Your account was terminated" message. I have been a paying member for over a year by the way and all I ever did there was upload my PSD files there for safe keeping in case my HDD suddenly dies or something.

This made me realize (yet again) that every digital thing you think you own can be taken away from you at any instant. And "I like" how poorly the whole thing got handled by MEGA. There was no warning, no nothing. They just nuked my account, deleted all my files without even explaining what I did wrong. 

Good thing I was always paying monthly. Imagine if I decided to pay a year upfront?They could have at least suspended my account or something, but no, they deleted all my work and also made it in the most obnoxious way possible. They behave like complete assholes but instead of apologizing they keep pushing. Like if me getting banned resulted in them not seeing me as a human being anymore. That's how corporations do business now. We need to adapt or perish. 

Nothing new to see here though. A lot of my russian friends who were dumb enough to pay for their PSN subscription for entire year upfront will never get compensated for anything. I personally lost around $300 when my PayPal account got frozen about 3 years ago. Scammers can get in trouble with the authorities, but corporations who do exactly the same thing openly always get away with it.

Fortunately enough I was actually mirroring all my backups on another cloud service as well. And by now I already signed up with another cloud serves and uploaded all my files there as well. So it's all good.

The Movies. Watched Mr.Baseball last night. Never seen it before, really enjoyed it. Not the best movie ever or anything, but an enjoyable picture non the less. ^^

The Games. Currently I am playing Valkyria Chronicles 1 on my SWITCH. Since I hacked my PS VITA I can now play VC3 that was never released in the west, but I want to beat 2 previous games first. VC1 is a lot of fun. Also being able to hire Visa and Aika (from Skies Of Arcadia) was a nice surprise.

The work. As the title of this post suggests all I did last week was drawing, inking and coloring. And I am almost done, but it will probably take another couple of days to finish everything. After that I will move on to coding-in the events and importing the artwork into the game proper.
