Hello bros. Welcome to Monday Post 232.

The work. This week I was able to follow the plan (for the most part). I finished writing Skinny Lily's story and got back to working on art assets. Finished drawing and inking pretty much everything I needed. This week I shall be spent on coloring all the drawings, adding additional facial expressions and so on. I estimate entire week will be spent solely on that. But we will see, maybe I will be able to wrap things up a bit quicker :)

The stuff. Few days ago I found out that I lost my PS VITA's charger while moving (several months ago). I ordered new one online and on Wednesday went to the local mall to pick it up. It takes a while to get there, and since I was there anyway I decided to shop for new shorts and t-shirts and ended up wasting entire day. So I had one day less for work last week. But real life needs our attention every now and then, no way around it.

My PSP is 10+ years old by now, but it still works perfectly fine apart from a completely busted analog stick. Last week I booted it up and deicide to login to PSN, only to find out that PSP PSN has been shut down long time ago. That gave me a pause since I "own" quite a few digital games on that system. I decided to login to PSN online (via PC), hoping I will be able to download some of my games that way. But PSN on PC only has to tabs: PS4 and PS5.

To sum it up, digital purchases of anything ever is lie. If you want to truly own anything, you need to go physical or realize that you are not actually buying digital games but renting them instead. Also this made it obvious to me that I need to jailbrake my PSP if I want to play all the games I paid for. (But first I need to replace the busted controller stick.)

My PSVITA is ready to be broken out of jail. Now I just need to find the time to read all the tutorial and such. In the meantime I tried to log in to PSN only to find out that the system had changed and now I need to use a QR code to go online, create "device setup password" and only after that my original password would work. This new "feature" pissed me off a bit, but I decided to be an adult about it and do as the message said.

Long story short, I spent some time tinkering with SONY website on my PC, did what it said but the password still refused to work. I can login to PSN on PC just fine, but creating "device setup password" just doesn't work for some reason. I mean the system creates the password, but my VITA still shows the same message after I enter it.  And no, this is not in any way related to my location and the current state of the world, it is only related to SONY being an evil corporation that deserves now support from real gamers anymore. I can't wait to hack my PSVITA and play PSOne, PSP and VITA games. The games from back in the day, when the grass was greener.

And that is about it. EXTRA post will contain a few more pics and a video of me inking some stuff. Thank you for your support, bros. I'll see you all next week.

Look up "Games as a Service is Fraud" by Accursed Farms on YouTube. He actually lays good foundation for someone with money willing to sue over companies breaking games.

DeadMan

There are some good videos about jail breaking. Have fun.

Hey Akabur! I had this issue with my vita a while back. You have to log in on PC and activate 2 factor authentication first, then generate the code from the PC and copy it over. Hope this helps!

i also lost my PSVita in my bedroom... impossible to find it back LOL, it's like 8m² or soemthing... yet i can't find it XD. But i ont care much anyway, i will find it one day when i move. I just bougth a new PSVR (waiting for it, is killing me :O), gotta enjoy some games i wanted to give a shot like job/vacation simulator, no man sky and such for good time ... and Hitman 3 VR for fun (god, i just started playing Hitman 3, i alrady find soo many bugs and glitches in it, it's hilarious XD. Its litteraly Cyberpunk2077's level in a nutshell XD)... (PS: i do find my long lost Nintendo 3DS, sadly it seems that she broke in half badly :/, can still play fine, but screen is not holding anymore, the middle/moving part is broked, and playing 3DS without the top screen holding in place is awfull. Have fun trying jailbreaking that shit, i couldn't do that, i dont understand anything about it XD

Today, in the ipad I lost the 3 backgrounds I had nearly to finish for my project, if I had a piece of papper with ink that nevers happen (or if I made a backup in my externaldisk)... os I guess I can undestand the feeling :D<br>I hope you share some screens from the retro-games you play!<br>Keep safe man!

These days, all the old games I wanna play I play on emulators on my Galaxy Tab with a PS4 controller. Just started "Eternal Darkness" for the first time in about 20 years :)

<p style="color: #008600;">Well, I hope this whole fuss with the SONY website hasn't really ruined your nerves and time. Cheer up and enjoy life!</p>

Yeah I tend to buy games and content for PC that I can download and backup. That said there is so much I have not done that with and services can just disappear. I bought a lot of groupees.com comics bundles and believe they are shutting down end of the month, now I'm battling time to get it all download and sorted right when work commitments are tying me up. I should have done it consistently as I purchased. The usual thing you intend to but get busy.

Thanks for the great update, at least we always stay up to date with everything that happens to you. Best luck!

&gt;&gt;&gt;You have to log in on PC and activate 2 factor authentication first, then generate the code from the PC and copy it over. Wow, what a sequence of actions just to access my account... Back in the day all I had to do is enter my login and password. I would try the solution you suggested if I read your message few days ago. Now I am on a custom firmware, have full access to the entire PSN library online and able to login to my PSN account without resorting to witchcraft. Hell, I can even buy games or download previously purchased ones. Oh, and also there is a whole homebrew PSN-like app that has Bully and GTA: San Andreas for VITA on it. I should've liberated my VITA ages ago. ^^

I bought PSVR on release. Was really excited. Thought it was "the future of gaming". To be fair it was fun for like 2 days, and after that the helmet was just collecting dust on the shelf. I hope you will have a better luck and will be actually able to enjoy the thing though. :) P.S. Jailbraking my PS Vita took like one minute. Apparently old consoles are super easy to jailbreak :)

Oh that's sad :/. For now, i enjoying it alots. Theyare some verycool games todays, things like "vacation simulator" or some great things like "arizona sunshine" and "blood and truth", heck, i even enjoy playing "superdimension neptunia VIIR"... LOL that's usually not my kind of game and i admit it's extremly weird to see thoes manga girls poping out like if it was real XD

akabur

Damn, just hearing you say that feels me with dread. I always have many back ups, and even two identical online storages where I keep all my work. But sometimes Photoshops freezes when I use one particular brush and I sometimes loos 10 or so minutes work, I hate it when that happens T_T As for the retro games I plan to share some screenshots at lease XD

akabur

Sounds like something I could do as well maybe. Phone/Tablet emulation won't work for me because I can't play without actual buttons to press, but you way sounds good enough. What are the specs of your Tablet?

akabur

No it didn't ruin my nerves. But it made me one step closer to realizing that for me the only way to go is emulation and old games. I don't expect any new games to ever interest me ever -_- In any case, thank you for the comment ^^
