"Next Episode" button. (Patreon)

First of all it is the 8th of August already, meaning that we have only like 4 months left until it's year 2018 already. Unbelievable... :(

In today's post I want to discuss one of the small changes I will be making with the upcoming release of "SC34" Episode 02. 

So, let's just dive right into, because we have no time to waste: I could blink and it would be the December already. 

So, after playing the first episode of "SC43" many people felt confused after finishing all the quests and events because it was not made obvious whether or not they finished current portion of the game. 

I think it was a very legitimate problem and I plan to fix it in episode 02.

Here is how it is going to work. After beating all the quests and events in episode 01 a button will pop up somewhere in the main menu. That would mean that you have beaten all the main quests and events. Now, you can continue playing but until you hit that button, the story will not progress any further. 

After you hit the "Next Episode" button - the next portion of content will be unlocked. New quests, new events. Everyday phrases the girls say will be updated and such. As you continue playing through episode 02 eventually you will complete all the quests and events again. And again, the "Next Episode" button will pop up. Now if you click it, since there is no more content yet a short scene will start and lola will say something like "Episode 03 coming soon". And that is how you will know that you have reached the end of the current game. (You will still be able to continue playing but there will be now new story content).

I hope this explanation wasn't too convoluted. Also I planned to discuss this and other small changes in the release post, but it could get a bit crazy and hectic like it always get's during that time, so maybe it will be smarter on my part to just let you guys know about these things while I am still working on the release.

Another thing, this episode is taking me way to long, and I don't like it. To speed things up I am cutting some content like quests, events and even some already finished show-animations and some costumes, but you should not worry about that. This does not mean I am cutting them completely, it's just means I will work on them in episode 03.

And I think I will stop talking for now. Please don't make any assumptions about the release date, you know me: it's ready when it's ready. But I hope to make another post soon with a slightly more concrete info on the current state of development.
