Soooo, I know I said the comic would be an original character one.... But, I have to be realistic here and looking at the numbers I see a big decline in memberships, sales etc after I started doing more OC stuff... So even if some of you think they are cool, clearly the majority prefers fanart, right? Which makes me think that perhaps I should just have these comics be fanart... Now, that would certainly have to be about stuff I'm also into, so not just some random game or anime that I know absolutely nothing about. I'm still thinking that we have disccussions and votes about how the story should progress.... Thoughts?

I think votes on how the story should progress is a great idea. And as for deciding which characters to do, why don't you come up with some of your favorite fanart characters to draw and do a poll based off of that for the comic. I think that's a solid way to make sure you know you'll also be into whatever you end up deciding to create.

Split the difference and include both original character and fan art of existing characters. I think you already have a good grasp of what your audience likes to see so I personally don’t think a vote is necessary. I would rather you have a clear direction you know you’re going in.

Maybe you establish a fantasy adventurer, a sci-fi captain, a superhero of your own, etc and write them into scenarios with different fan art partners

My suggestion is that if you're going to create a comic with pre-existing characters, definitely have at least one character you're comfortable drawing. Seven of Nine seems to be a favorite, since you've drawn her a few times. You could even take a pre-existing image you've drawn and turn it into a short comic, since you will be familiar with how you drew the characters. For example, the Deanna Troi and Seven, or the Seven and T-X drawings.

Sad to hear people leaving just cause the OC's but if we gotta chose fan art type of comic I think Hermione would be a cool comic idea. You've done plenty of her (good stuff btw) but she has a very popular series and can easily write a comic for her using magic prowess to lets say explore other universes. (like any game or anime characters u choose) Hermione could be looking for special properties of cum from all over. Trying to develop the cum of immortality and just having a ton of sex on the way.

Hrmm Hermione hell maybe Peggy

Glad you're open to doing fan art comics, anyways i'd definitely like one for Lara from Tomb Raider.

What I'd be careful about here is that with random pieces each month, even if someone isn't interested in what you do this time there's a chance next month's might be of more interest. If you're doing a comic and it ends up being, say, Star Wars, are the people who aren't interested in Star Wars going to hang around until it's finished? That said I totally understand it's your livelihood and you have to try and follow the money. Perhaps the answer is to do a dimension jumping series with an OC protagonist who travels (or is sent beyond their control) into different universes, allowing you to change things up and appeal to a broad spectrum of people. Or set it in a Ready Player One style virtual world where the characters have avatars styled after famous characters, allowing you to blend characters from multiple sources at once. Even have the same characters change avatars mid story (they go from a fantasy to a sci fi world so switch from LotR cast to Next Gen, for example) allowing you to keep the story continuous. That would also explain why normally female characters sometimes (often?) sport huge dicks!

I personally much prefer comic charters instead of OCs. I love to see girls and ladies I know get huge cocks and perverse, crazy sex. And in comic form is even better.

I really love Stevolteon's idea about an OC who jumps between dimensions. You could have the character jump from say, Star Wars, to Star Trek, to Harry Potter, to Terminator universes, and many more. Each comic could be short - say 3-4 pages, and each month, you can run a poll on different suggestions of what fans want for that month. No repeats of universes in a row to give everyone a chance to see what they like.
