I wanted to show you this fabulous decorative iron and stone work on a house along Carrer de Sant Geudenci in Sitges. I find the imagination used inspiring to say the least. What if a Wedgwood blue was set as the background colour to this white rendered piece of wall? It is reminiscent of so much work in our own home - particularly in the entrance porch to our Magical Mansion and I attach the final image showing our side walls of this space, using the same technique, to help jog your memory... Coincidentally, I am editing this week's TWMF vlog with Ollie and Stephanie and here, they are in a Masonic Palace looking up at a Wedgwood style ceiling and it is simply divine! Ps. What do you think this is on the ironwork - bees? And on a positive note, as I walk around Sitges I can see so many Modernist buildings like our own in need of a great deal of work and still very beautiful!!
