I wanted to share with you some work I have started to make the kitchen nicer to live with and to embrace the Bewitched look! Noticing that the panel around the sink needed filling, sanding and some mastic to prevent water getting in, I am now finding this job just keeps on growing. Here you can see I'm just working on the white painted wood and adding to this, the kitchen drawers. With the drawers, I'm trying to seal the MDF base, which being so old, is dropping dust into the cupboards below along with smelling very musty. I have no idea if I will win but figured I have nothing to lose and a lot to learn by embarking on this project. Right now, there is a great deal of protective sticky paper allowing me to paint lots of white wooden frame areas and spray paint the rusting metal door and drawer handles. I can't wait to show you next time how this is progressing.
