So John Sinclair was right - it’s a Vespa! It’s a bit of nightmare getting Ophelia to school at the moment with car parking scarce so this should solve the matter save an hour a day.

Quite an old one but polishes up well!

I love it. Inaya loves it! Camilla loves the look of it bit thinks it is a bit noisy (it is ,very!) so the jury is out if we keep it or return it for a quieter model.

In the meantime though Ziggy and I will just hang out and imagine we are zooming through the streets of Roma in search of icecream!

As you can see I don’t have a helmet. The thing is I tried to get one but even the XXL is too small for me!! I have always had a big head (Literally I mean and I hope not metaphorically!) and when I was a student in the Royal Navy Reserves they had a total struggle to find a Midshipman cap big enough for me.

It might be good thing. The last time I drove I moped I was 20 years old on a Greek island, Santorini. My moped got stuck on full power and I drove at full pelt towards crowd of unsuspecting tourists getting of a coach. They all ran for their lives and I smashed into the front of the coach taking out both headlights. My spending money for my holiday was rapidly reduced as a result, thanks to an irate coach driver,

Someone after congratulated me for being Evel Knievel. I blamed the moped of course,.

That’s a super fun pair of wheels!! You should add some flames up the side in honour of your Evil Knievel / Near Death experience. Ophelia would then have the coolest dad EVER!!! 🔥🔥

Now, that is totally you :-) Smart purchase and I'm sure is a great help maneuvering through the city. When you do find a helmet, please attach a camera to it so we can have a front seat just in case a bus gets in your way :-)

Your story reminds me of the story you told in your interview with Stephanie. My husband and I just howled with laughter while you were retelling the story. 😀🤣😀
