Here's the completed book nook, ready before we sent little Ophelia for her first day at school today. We're holding tight and hoping the pain of not being able to communicate will soon turn into an ability to speak two more languages - Spanish and Catalan! It's definitely not going to be easy but we're going for it! Coincidentally, Vanessa, Camilla's sister has just sent her boys to a Dutch speaking school where they live in Holland, having taken them out of the English speaking school. They've lived there for years and it's by sheer coincidence, that they took the same plunge.
