5th September - up and away with some Miró inspiration too (Patreon)

Off on work travels again - to the UK. I was travelling Ryanair which has the advantage of leaving from Terminal 2 at Barcelona Airport. This happens to have one of Joan Miro’s biggest art works on the wall created in . I love it when big public buildings make an effort with art!

The artwork was created in 1970 and was one of 4 big art works that Miró donated to the city of his birth. This one was designed to welcome visitors.

Miró is one of Catalunya’s most famous artists along with Dalí and Tápies.  There is also a rather good Miró museum on the city which we visited in April of last year and has amazing views over the city with Miro sculptures and paintings too.

ps Amazingly the UK seems to be the same temperature as Spain!  It has been 28 or 29 degrees celsius. I am near the town of Oakham in Rutland and the venue is rather nice too.  England is looking so beautiful.
