27th August - Glorious posters from a more elegant age! (Patreon)

I absolutely love vintage posters advertising holiday destinations. And to my great joy there was an exhibition of them at the museum in San Sebastián.

The poster showed just what a fashionable resort San Sebstián was back in the day - attracting fashionable types from across Europe. A place to see and be seen!

The town also put on multiple sporting events as it competed for the in crowd with other fashionable European resorts such as Biarritz just along the coast. 

I love them all but my favourite is the first one because of the over the top description - just wonderful!
