A sad day today as we said goodbye to all the sisters - except Emma whose family joined us last night. I think they had a wonderful time though Ophelia is missing her cousins a lot!

Emma's boys (two of the three are here) are all very musical and they brought their friend John too who is an exceptional pianist - I don't think our Yamaha upright has ever had quite such a tuneful workout!

I thought you might like to see this wonderful doorway Camilla and I stumbled on in Vilanova the next door town. Isn’t the plasterwork exquisite! I look forward to perhaps the dining room ceiling being so sparkly white.
