28th July - getting ready for the big celebration (Patreon)

Thank you for all your kind words about Don Pekoe. He is much missed but I am taking Stephanie Murray’s wise advice of trying to focus our thoughts on the love he gave not the loss and that is helping.

Another thing that is raising spirits is the thought of Camilla’s sisters coming for Jessica’s 50th in the next couple of weeks - it will be fabulous to finally use the new table properly for a big celebratory meal!

Camilla has now gone to Holland to see Ophelia and Aunty Nessie and then will be going on to her French upholstery course in France - we can’t wait to see what new skills she learns which I am sure will be put to much use in the weeks ahead.

Before she left Camilla went into full power work mode sorting out the garden. We now have freshly painted garden chairs and she even gave the swing a coat of paint. My job is to remember to water the plants while she is away!
